I purchased two of MagsLoops crochet succulents and I am soo happy with my order! This year I wanted my Christmas gifts to be supporting small and local businesses and this was the perfect match! The order came nicely wrapped and with the sweetest personalized note from the shop owner. I already knew they would be amazing from all the photos but it’s even better than I expected. You can feel the love and care put into the making of the items, and this especially shows in their quality. I am giving the succulents to both of my young nephews and I know that they will last many years, either standing tall on their shelves or as a toy to play with. Thank you so much, Mags! I will definitely be purchasing again. <3
Hey! Welcome to Mags Loops. I’m Mags and I am an Ottawa-based creator who hand-makes cute and functional crochet items. In 2020, I decided to commit my time to doing something that is fun and grounding for me, which also generates income and makes others happy. There is something about taking yarn, thread and imagination and ending up with a fully-realized and functional item that is so fulfilling.
I create on an “as-inspired” basis. I want Mags Loops items to provide comfort and inspiration to my customers. I am excited to provide colourful and unique products that I have created, while also inspiring others to imagine the possibilities of what could be created - If you can imagine it, I can crochet it.
I hope to inspire others to invest time and money into their hobbies, regardless of how profitable they are. Creation and connection are basic human needs that my brand is based on. I also offer a “pay-it-forward” program to allow customers to contribute money to provide both my more practical and more whimsical items to others.
The future of Mags Loops includes strong partnerships with local entrepreneurs, charities, and centres to create collaborative products that provide comfort and income to vulnerable communities. One day Mags Loops will be present in shops, selling and providing crocheted products, patterns, and do-it-yourself kits.
