A present (whether for me or someone else I'm not sure yet!) as I love these necklace kits. Lovely kit, shipped quickly, very easy to make :-)

I purchased this kit a few years ago & bought again for my friend, who admired my necklace. She's not a knitter so I made it up for her (such an easy pattern!) and she loves it :-)

About

Mahliqa - Knitted Wire Jewellery

In design I love lots of things. Among them intricacy, delicacy, richness, complexity and colour.
I have always been very creative, I love art and music and all crafts. I was knitting from a very early age, and making jewellery,
My inital career path was light years away from what I am doing now. I qualified and worked as a lawyer, 'attention to detail' being the common thread.
I took a career break to bring up a family and my 'hobby' started to take over and gain momentum. I started with a few craft fairs, then progressed to bigger exhibitions. I have exhibited at The Knitting & Stitching Shows at Alexandra Palace and London, Olympia now for the last 5 years. People are still fascinated that I create my jewellery from knitting needles and thin wire. I put kits together for knitters to have a go themselves at knitting with wire, demonstrating the technique at the Show, and they have been a roaring success.
The business seems to be growing organically, I am passionate about my work, I love every minute I spend creating my pieces and am deeply grateful that others admire and appreciate my work.
I eat, sleep and breathe knitted wire, always designing, always aspiring, totally dedicated.
