Inspired by heritage and traditional stitch

In design I love lots of things. Among them intricacy, delicacy, richness, complexity and colour.
My heritage is a huge influence in my design process. I am from the indian sub-continent and have persian ancestry. I am inspired by mughal jewellery of old and persian art. I am drawn to islamic architecture, with it's geometric lines and symmetry, and these shapes and styles feature heavily in my collections.
I love all types of stitch, whether knitted, crocheted or sewn, and this forms the basis of all my jewellery. Sometimes I combine all of these into one piece, exploring how stitch and heritage can come together.
As well as finished jewellery, I put jewelllery knitting kits together for aspiring knitters to try, with downloadable patterns for both my wire and yarn accessories.
The business has been growing organically, I am passionate about my work, I love every minute I spend creating my pieces and am deeply grateful that others admire and appreciate my work.
I eat, sleep and breathe knitted wire, always designing, always aspiring, totally dedicated.
