For our home, we always changed things up through color. We'd purchase something, but could see it look great in another color, go home, and then do it!

Mark-Anthony wanted to do something else for work and the thought came to us, why don't we do the same thing that we do for our home? Our shop was born, and it has been chugging right along ever since. The beauty of nature, (animals), and their majestic presence, then add color to that, is a fantastic experience for us, and the outcome.... well.... happiness! It's such a blessing to be able to do this for a living.

We love it when customers want an item, but want it in another color. To be around color, and paint, gives cheer and splendor. We are surrounded by color everyday whether its in the workshop or in our own home. It inspires us, it makes us feel cheery, and full of zeal! To discuss color ideas with customers & to get to know our customers is amazing! We LOVE to talk to people and to hear their ideas or bounce back ideas, is just fun because we get excited about beautiful interiors. It literally makes my heart pump, (and maybe for Mark-Anthony too). We wake up every morning and think, "seriously? we get to do this for a living?"

We've appreciated our jobs through our lives, however, this tops them all. We work longer hours and work about 6 sometimes 7 days a week, but it's worth it. It gets quite busy but we're so grateful of the support.

We appreciate every sale, whether it's small or large, saying, "THANK YOU, LORD!" every time we hear that "cha-ching" sound come through. :)

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

If your order comes to you damaged, please take several pictures, (clearly please), and send to us along with your message. It is important to us that you please take a picture of the box as well.


We believe in securely packing your packages, because of course, we want them to arrive safely to you, so that you can enjoy them. However, sometimes, other hands are not as careful, please understand this that sometimes it is out of our control. However, we do our best, and are willing to learn, if it is our error.

Upon receiving your package(s), please do not leave your items in the box/packaging for a long period of time as discoloration may occur for metallic colors. This is especially if you live in high-humidity locations.

We can not refund your purchase if you damage it, (if a child breaks it, earthquake, tornado, hurricane, or if it falls to the ground, customer drops it, or any other case where if the item comes safely and in tack to you, we are not responsible for damaged pieces). Come and ask us though, we can give you a discount the 2nd time around. It's appreciated if you are honest if you break it. These things happen.

For Moose Heads, you can open your box from both top and bottom. Once you do that, push the styrofoam straight out. NEVER pull from the antlers to take your moose out. The antlers WILL BREAK.

If you are are not satisfied with your purchase, you may send it back, at customers cost. If your item comes BROKEN when you open your box, you have the option of a full refund, or we can paint another one for you and send it on its way.
Your order will be worked on when we receive payment. We do not start a piece(s), until your order is received, purchased and has cleared.
On "Reserve" orders, we do not work on them until payment received. Please contact us if any questions.
We ship Monday-Friday only via USPS. Post office is closed Saturday & Sunday for us.

Please allow up to 1-2 weeks for pieces BEFORE they are shipped out. They could be shipped out sooner, however.
Our approximate average is about 3-7 business days to complete your order before ship out. Custom orders take 1-2 weeks, (more or less, it depends on what needs to done).

Please make certain that we have your CORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS. Please message us straight away if incorrect on your order.
It is not our, (mahzerandvee), responsibility for additional shipping cost, if the shipping address is not correct on your order.

Shipping prices are high these days, unfortunately. Shipping for our particular pieces can be high. We DO NOT determine the shipping prices. Customers are responsible for knowing the price of shipping before they order. The further your pieces are going, (location), the more expensive it will be.
On our end, we insert the weight and box size. USPS will spit out a dollar amount. That is how shipping is determined.

We paint our items multiple times to ensure that it looks incredible! Also, we're very grateful for the heavy work load we have because of high-volume.
Please keep in mind, that especially during the holiday season, we are packed with orders, and doing the best we can to work at speed with out losing quality.

**Customer is responsible for ADDITIONAL Custom Fees or Import Tax Fees shipped anywhere outside the US.** This is for INTERNATIONAL ORDERS only.

+CUSTOM ORDERS: please allow up to 2-3 weeks, (sometimes more), unless otherwise noted/messaged before we ship out your order. You will receive a photo(s), before we send your custom item out, unless it's just like the photo in listing. If we send a photo, this is for your approval. If 4 days have passed, and we haven't heard from you, we will ship your item out.

Sorry, we do not ship out on Saturday, or Sundays.
We ship from USPS.
We provide a tracking number for each order when it's sent out.

Frequently asked questions
How long do custom orders take and what is classified as a custom order?

For custom orders, typically it takes anywhere between 1 1/2 weeks to 3 weeks to complete, depending on how much time it takes and what needs to be done. On average, customs are completed in 2 weeks, then sent out.

Customs are detailed extra work like painted checkers, stripes, painted eyes/ears, rub-brush finishes, and faux finishes.

If you change the color, (solid colors), on a deer, XL deer, moose, or antelope, that is not considered a custom.
For example: if you purchase a white antelope with silver horns, and you want to change it to all white, that is not considered a custom. The waiting time on that will not take 2-3 weeks.

**What is the turn around time before my item(s) ship out?**

We start working on your piece after it's ordered.

Our current turn around time is posted in the front of our shop below our logo banner. It is updated as time frames change.

If you have any questions about time frame, please feel free to message us through Etsy, we're here to help.
If there is a delay for some reason, I will contact you.
For orders that have more than 5 pieces, we ask for a day or two in addition, however, sometimes it doesn't change the time frame.

Please note that custom orders are typically a 2-3 week wait.

I'm nervous about a big item being shipped to me. Do you pack your items well so I can have confidence it will arrive safely?

It is in our best interest to pack your items extremely well, so you can enjoy your purchase straight away.
Mark-Anthony is in charge of packing your items safely and neatly in your hand-painted, decorated box.
They are packed so well, that we ask you to slowly open your boxes.
For moose heads, you can open the box on both ends, then push the styrofoam casing out, (straight).
You will need some scissors to carefully cut the tape off. Cardboard is also packed in to protect your item for most large pieces.
Although Mark-Anthony packs your boxes extraordinary well, sometimes there are rough handlers out there, and accidents do happen. This is rare, however.
