Majora Acres

My shop name (which is also my farm name) comes from the first 2 letters of each of my 3 childrens' names. Of course, the youngest has changed his name (twice!), but I'm not changing my business name.

I've raised Romeldale sheep since 1999. They are gentle, good-natured animals, and come in a wide variety of colors. I love their fine wool fleeces.

I spin a wide variety of yarns, both natural colors and hand-dyed. I also create batts for others to spin, and dye commercially prepared fibers as well.

When I'm not playing with fiber, I'm using it! I knit, weave, needle felt and sew. And I'm always willing to discuss custom order.

I got my first wheel for Christmas, 1990. I knew that people made yarn but I had never seen anyone do it. It was just something that I knew I had to learn. My wheel came with a free lesson, and I haven't looked back since!

  • Midge

    Maker, Romeldale/CVM Ewe

Midge is just one of my purebred Romeldale ewes. She is a CVM colored ewe, and produces a lovely grey fleece and lovely lambs.

  • Ida Lynn

    Maker, Romeldale Ewe

Ida Lynn is a white Romeldale ewe. She produces a gorgeous fine fleece, along with stunning lambs.

  • Amber

    Maker, Romeldale Ewe

Amber is one of my Romeldale ewes. She has a lovely pale moorit (brown) fleece.

Thank you for shopping at Majora Acres. This is a non-smoking, pet friendly home business. We do heat with wood during the winter.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchases. Colors do not always show up properly on computer monitors, and we understand that sometimes that is vitally important to your project.

If you are not happy when you receive your purchase, you have 14 days to return them to us in like-new condition. Please contact me to let me know what the problem is and if you want a refund or exchange.
Payment is by Paypal (preferred), check or money order. Payment must be recevied before items are shipped.
I work outside the home 4 days a week, so shipping happens on my days off. Shipping charges will be based on actual weight of items purchased, not a set amount per item.

Shipping will be by USPS, UPS or Fed Ex, as you request. Of course, faster delivery costs more...
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are always welcome! We will be communicating extensively during the ordering process, and you will be supplied with samples before your order is finished. A 25% deposit will be requested at the beginning of the process (based on my estimate of what the total cost will be).
