Super comfortable, colorful, and perfectly themed to the event we attended - Toledo Zoo's Zoo To Do! Very fun!

About

How wonderful to Make.

For as long as I can remember, I have been a maker.

It began with collecting. Bits of lace saved to make troll doll clothes, interesting branches to decorate my room, empty toilet paper rolls to create binoculars - everything has a purpose if you look hard enough. And I was always looking.

It took some time for my skills to catch up to my imagination but, after years of study, both professional and personal, my hands are able to create the things that I dream up. And I am loving every minute of it.

I still draw a lot of inspiration from items I have collected. Sometimes a great button is the perfect focal point for a crocheted hat. Sometimes a neglected, vintage piece can have a new life or a scrap of leather can become something amazing. Whatever the inspiration, my joy comes from taking the item, the raw material, and transforming it. Building something completely new. That, to me, is the definition of creativity.

I love being creative. I love making.

Shop policies

It is my goal to make beautiful, fun, and interesting things. I like to find creative ways to incorporate unexpected materials, and to respect the environment through up-cycling whenever possible. I never sell anything that I wouldn't be proud to wear, and I never list anything at a price that I would not be willing to pay. I think that art is wonderful and fun, and that wearing it should enliven and enlighten. Not too much to strive for, I think.

I accept payment through PayPal or electronic check. If paying through electronic check, I will wait for the check to clear before shipping the item.

If ordering a custom item, I will set up a private listing in the agreed upon dollar amount. Once payment is received, the item will be completed and shipped.

Shipping
Items shipping within the continental US will be shipped USPS First Class Mail with delivery confirmation. I provide the confirmation number when I verify your item as shipped. Ready to purchase items ship within 1-2 business days, and generally arrive in 2-3 business days.

Items shipping to addresses outside the continental US will be shipped via USPS First class mail, but cannot include delivery confirmation.

Custom items ship 1-2 business days after final client approval.

While I do not accept exchanges on custom items, I want you to be totally satisfied with the finished product. We will work together to make sure this is the case.

Custom orders are encouraged.

I am always open to new and exciting wholesale and consignment opportunities, particularly in (but not limited to) the Chicagoland area.
