Announcement    Hey, you 😊 MakeRuckus Press' current offerings: letterpress-printed cards, handbuilt ceramic plaques, jewelry, and vessels, and newly-minted pins by The Salty Widow!

If you're new here, hi! And welcome in, it's a little crazy (IT'S A LOT CRAZY). All the things tagged #pastapottery are made with pasta alphabet letters, like in your soup! Now you realize *just how tiny* some of them are. And if you're seeing them with the pasta still intact, they have yet to be fired even once, and will shrink anywhere from 10-14%. There are a minimum of two firings, the first at cone 04/1940°F/1060°C and the subsequent either gas reduction and/or salt firing at cone 10/2381°F/1305°C. Any questions please ask. I welcome bespoke work. Cheers!

Also? Awesome rubber stamps and supplies from my now-defunct brick-and-mortar rubber stamp shop. I have *lots* of inventory, and will list things as time allows. Please send along any and all requests: favorite companies, themes, individual stamps.

All items are stored in a smoke-free home in which two cats reside. All stamps and supplies are new and unused unless noted.

I ship internationally! Please convo me for details.

Lastly, a link to my Facebook page, The Salty Widow: https://www.facebook.com/The-Salty-Widow-1377996932329450/

About

a few of my favorite things

I had a brick and mortar rubber stamp shop for five years in a little town about a half hour north of Manhattan. It was wonderful and crazy and I met some of the best people on the planet, many of whom I'm still close to, one of whom I married. I got to be crafty and creative, my baby brother taught me that math can be useful and sexy, and I honed my customer service skills to an extremely fine point. Along the way, I discovered that being the owner of a real-live store with all the trimmings was not just about being the best at selling and customer loyalty -- it is about minutiae like insurance and accounting and *not* working ninety hours a week: things that I am *not* good at. I'm a control freak -- I get it -- I'm happiest when I am taking care of things, making sure they get done exactly the way I want them. Over the years, I've gotten much more comfortable with delegation, and found that I'm a really good trainer to boot. So now, things still get done the way I want, but I'm not the one responsible for doing every last thing myself.

Let me know what you're looking for; if I've got it, or I can make it, I'll accommodate.

Cheers :-)

Custom and personalized orders

For bespoke ceramics work, I am limited by the pottery's schedule of a high firing every six weeks or so. I have a Patreon page set up (http://patreon.com/user?=3468170) with the specific goal of affording 24/7 access to a local high-fire ceramics studio ($200/month inclusive). Even if you can't help out with a pledge right now, you can always share with friends! $1/month gets you a Patreon-exclusive discount to use right here on Etsy and at EtsyLocal events; as little as $5/month gets you fun, tangible rewards!

For bespoke letterpress work, I am on press all the time. 24/7. I have inky dreams.
