    About

    Welcome to make + thrive!

make + thrive was originally named 'carcrashart' for a while before I finally decided to make the name change.

'carcrashart' has been a monicker I've wanted for my shop ever since I was in high school because the name was inspired by a Fall Out Boy song and I was a HUGE fan of Fall Out Boy. However, I feel like it's something that no longer resonates with me. I've definitely matured enough in the past year that I wanted something much more purposeful and meaningful.
At first I thought about naming the shop something with the word 'flourish' because of how Psalm 52:8 resonates with me now that I am in Christ. So I thought of Flourish and Thrive. But then I realized that Thrive starts with T (for Trisha) which then led me to want to start thinking of an M word so that it will be 'M + T' since M and T are mine and my husband's nickname initials.

That's how I came up with 'make + thrive'. Make because I love making stuff; and Thrive because I desire to thrive in the Word and what I do. And since the goal of my art is to create and sell for the benefit of being able to give more to those in need, make and thrive just seemed like the perfect combination.

Buying from this Etsy shop will not just help me grow my business. 40% of the profit will go to my giving fund which benefits a list of crowdfunding/donation pages who need financial help. See the list of people or institutions I'm trying to help here: http://trishasales.net/i-support

    Frequently asked questions
    How frequent do you ship?

I am working a 9-5 job, five days in a week and so I might not be able to process orders everyday. I expect to ship items every Friday, which is the end of my work week with my day job.
