I'm staying busy and healthy and have been self-isolating in my home/studio and am grateful to still be able to do what I love, but now without any additional helpers (for obvious reasons). Malibu Tile Works has been creating decorative tiles for almost 25 years. I specialize in the old-world technique called cuerda-seca to make classic, custom and original designs and historic reproductions. You can see examples of installations on my website: www.MalibuTileWorks.com. The tiles are extremely durable high-fired Italian quarry or porcelain and can be installed inside or outside. Tiles are suitable for all types of installations -including house number addresses and markers, custom home name and welcome signs, fountains, pools and spas, stair risers, kitchen and bathroom back-splashes and accents, murals, outdoor projects, table tops, fireplaces and much more. I can create custom designs for you as well -just ask.
NOTE: All images have been water-marked for copyright and image protection. Actual products are free of image distortion. It is (unfortunately) a necessary precaution to prevent others from claiming my work as their own. I appreciate your understanding.

Frequently asked questions
How big are the tiles?
All dimensions are detailed in each listing. Framed dimensions are posted towards the end of each listing. Please contact me if you have other questions or special custom requests.
What if I make a mistake when ordering?
If you forgot to indicate numbers you need -send me a convo and I will update your order. If you enter the wrong shipping address, order the wrong item or change your mind about the item you wish to purchase -please contact me within 3 days of placing your order so that I can issue a full refund and order cancellation -so that you can re-order the correct item with correct shipping information.
When will my order be shipped?
There is a ship-by date listed on your receipt. I try to ship earlier if at all possible. You will receive an Etsy notification when your item leaves my studio. Please contact me if you have any other questions or special custom requests.
Do you offer frames for the address tiles?
Yes -most listings for address tile sets are for framed items. I also offer just the frame in case you already have tiles. Please note that the frame will cover up to approximately 1/4" of the face of the tile all the way around. My designs are created with this in mind -so the pattern is not compromised. However, your own tiles may have designs that go all the way to the tile edge and therefore may not be suitable for this type of frame. The frames I offer are anodized aluminum and also include hanging hardware, screws and screw anchors. Please contact me if you have any other questions or have a special custom request.
Do you ship to other countries other than the United States?
Yes I can -but if you have an international request -please contact me directly and indicate which country you are in -and I will set up a custom listing for you that includes international shipping costs to your specific area. Please note that you will be responsible for any and all country customs and import fees. Please contact me if you have any other questions or special custom requests.
Can you create a custom design for me?
Yes -I do a lot of custom designs. Depending on your design -certain additional fees may be incurred. Simply contact me so that we can discuss your project. Once your design is approved -I will create a custom listing for you and send you a link so that you can purchase.
Custom and personalized orders
Due to the custom nature of my work -I cannot accept returns or exchanges on any custom or made-to-order items. However, if you are not satisfied please contact me so that I can discuss possible solutions with you. If something arrives damaged -or an error has been made by me -please contact me directly and I will gladly replace the item(s) for you.
