Hand made calligraphy, jewelry, knitting, crocheting, ...etc.

I began studying Hebrew calligraphy in Israel in 1981. My husband owned the art gallery, Hanoded, in Jerusalem, which exhibited folk art and fine art produced by young Israeli artists. One of these artists taught me the basics of Hebrew calligraphy. After teaching myself English calligraphy, I wrote a ketubah and put it in the gallery. After it sold, I decided to pursue the art of creating ketubot and other illuminated manuscripts more seriously.

I have now been writing and illuminating ketubot and other judaica for over 30 years. Over the years, I have been commissioned to design certificates, gifts for weddings, bar/bat mitzvah, babies, anniversaries, family trees, house warming and teachers , inspirational and motivational quotes and for many other occasions. I am a member of the American Guild of Judaic Art.

With the advent of personal computers, I diversified and taught myself beadwork for jewelry and returned to knitting and crocheting. My husband and son also encouraged me to have my own website,

I heard about from a friend of my daughter-in-law.. .and so my store, Marcy's Attic was born.

Several years ago, my daughter asked me to repair a broken bead bracelet. I then taught myself to do bead work. My jewelry can be seen at Beads2Bullets on
