5 out of 5 starsBeautiful custom piece. She worked with me to ensure we were happy with the finished product, at every step along the way. Very meaningful verse to us and I wanted the Hebrew to honor my Jewish heritage. ❤️

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely love it for the price! I think I was expecting it to be a little bigger, but that’s my own fault for not paying closer attention. It fits perfectly in our entryway!

5 out of 5 starsThe most perfect birthday gift for my friend with IBS. I framed it in a simple gold frame to add some pizzazz, and I don't think I'll ever be able to outdo myself in the birthday gift category again. Now even all my non-Jewish friends, with whom I shared a picture of the print, want one!

The Origin of Marcy's Attic
I began studying Hebrew calligraphy in Israel in 1981. My husband owned the art gallery, Hanoded, in Jerusalem, which exhibited folk art and fine art produced by young Israeli artists. One of these artists taught me the basics of Hebrew calligraphy. After teaching myself English calligraphy, I wrote a ketubah and put it in the gallery. After it sold, I decided to pursue the art of creating ketubot and other illuminated manuscripts more seriously.
I have now been writing and illuminating ketubot and other judaica for over 30 years. Over the years, I have been commissioned to design certificates, gifts for weddings, bar/bat mitzvah, babies, anniversaries, family trees, house warming and teachers , inspirational and motivational quotes and for many other occasions.
And thus, Marcy's Attic was born..
