5 out of 5 starsI have a happy heart right now. I am so pleased with my three little pugs. Gracie, Pudge and Riley RIP 10/16/17. They are a great replica of my three pugs. mamakopp did a fantastic job. Detailed and matching up their colors. Service was great and responsive as well as shipping was quick when the little pugs were ready.
About mamakopp
One day she bought a scroll saw, paint and wood....
I started out making toys for my two children and it has all accumulated from there! There is something so rewarding about making a lovely little wooden treasure that a child instantly recognizes as such. They tell stories with it and give that toy so much love and life! This is why I make these toys and will continue as long as I am able.

Owner
I live in the gorgeous Northwest with my wonderful husband and two growing boys. I dabble in many creative endeavors and I work-out like a mad woman.
Shop policies
I use poplar wood for most figures. It's much stronger than pine and can be found in a pure white form for painting. I prefer a one inch thickness for durability for toymaking. I also use a lot of walnut, spalted maple and osage orange wood that I acquired from green sustainable sources when I lived in Missouri.
My wood creme:
My wood creme is made of local organic beeswax, organic expeller pressed safflower oil, vitamin E as a perservative and a tiny bit of tea tree and lavender oil for a natural anitbacterial and for it's lovely scent.
The paint I use:
I use AP certified nontoxic watercolors for all my pieces.
Other things in the shop:
Sometimes I make small bags for the game sets. I use upcycled, often vintage fabrics that I find here and there at vintage stores. Sometimes I splurge and purchase cute fabrics from other etsy shops.
I also use a lot of wool felt and needle felted wool sculptures in my listings. I use high-quality Holland wool felt and high quality Merino wool for my needle felted pieces.
If you ever have any questions about how I make things or about any of the items in my shop, please do not hesitate to contact me and ask! I am always happy to hear from you.
