I received my reusable paper towels today. It didn't take long for delivery and the quality is really good. I am very pleased with the outcome. I am ordering another set to share.

Items were cute and well made. I probably will not order from the shop again. The shipping was very long for two tiny items. Also, when I tried contacting the shop through Etsy (twice), I never got a response. I had to find their Facebook page, and contact them before I received a response back. I just didn't feel the love as a paying customer.

About

Eco-Friendly Goods for Home and Family

I have a degree in environmental and human biology. I wanted to be a pharmacist. Despite that plan, after the birth of my oldest son about 8 years ago, my life started in a new direction.

I've sewn all of my life (I literally grew up in a quilt store), and commonly made things for friends and family. Etsy was brand-new when I opened my shop in 2007, selling a few baby items that I'd found to be useful with my first son.

Over the years, I started working out-of-the-home less, and focused more on my Etsy shop. I had another son in 2008, and was only working part-time. In 2009, when my second son started to eat solids, I found myself hating how many plastic sandwich bags I was throwing away. So I created a reusable version that could be washed and used again. On Earth Day in 2009, I was featured in the Etsy Finds email, and MamaMade became a full-time job.

Since that day, I have focused more on eco-friendly goods for the home and family, each item being something I needed to make our lives easier while reducing our impact on the environment.

Now we have added a third boy to our family, we no longer use paper in our kitchen, or paper diapers on the little ones. I personally use the items I sell, so that I not only know they will withstand lots of use, but I also know they are practical enough to be used in any family.

I make each and every item you see for sale. I love to sew, and I can't imagine taking even one day off from spending time in my studio.

I'm the mama behind mamamade. By day, I wrangle three young boys, and by night, I venture into my studio to sew and design eco-friendly goods for home and family.
