Announcement   Paintings and Prints of Wildlife and North American animals. Beautiful home decor of any room.
As a kid I drew a lot, thought I was an apache running through the desert and the woods of Arizona, and I rarely wore shoes or a shirt.

ARTIST BIO:

Mullen never thought his wild Arizona upbringing and childhood obsession with drawing wildlife would inform his art well into his thirties. In 2011 his original talent was awakened after a 14-year hiatus from visual art and returned with a vengeance. Capturing the majesty of wildlife he wrestles and scrapes through the layers of physicality and distress found in street art. His mixed media includes graphite, charcoal, acrylic, spray-paint/stencil, encaustic (beeswax), wheat-paste, fire, and oil pastels on wood.

Great piece of art. Seller communicated during the process to make sure it arrived in time and as described.

I had originally bought a copy of this print as a gift. I debated hard whether to actually give it away. In the end, I did and I'm glad because the recipient loved it. But. I had to have one for myself in the end so I purchased another. So happy with it. I love Travis Mullen's perspective and technique and encourage people to keep an eye on his work. Man Art Nation did a great job with shipping (quick, safe) as usual.

This is the second item I've purchase from Man Art Nation and again, I am so pleased. The quality of the print is outstanding. The haunting quality of this piece comes through even more so than on screen. Thanks to the seller for the quick, safe shipping.

About

Forgive me father for I have sinned...

Forgive me Father for I have sinned... I did not make art from 1997-2011.

I grew up drawing all the time. It was my strongest talent. From 1997-2011 my art went dormant. I had barely made any art at all. Writing poetry and music had become my main outlet. In the past year or two I spent more time watching my wife in the studio. I also was able to discuss art with two of my artist friends. I also watched some inspiring biographical documentaries on artists it really lit a fresh fire under my hand to pick up the charcoal again.

Dealing mostly with parallels of things I've connected through thoughts, poems, prayers, and emotions. Captured time; time that was saturated in deep spiritual and emotional reflection.

The content is mostly parallels drawn between two of my own poems, a parable of Jesus, two psalms (Tehillim), and a few visual concepts from my sketchbook. And while I played out these parallels I listened to one album on repeat throughout the whole body of work.
