Hope & Coffee

Hey there!

I'm Mandy Ford, an illustrator and lettering artist living in Indiana with my husband and twin boys. I'm ridiculously hopeful & endlessly optimistic. My art reflects my hope for everyone to feel connected, seen, and accepted.

I've been a maker since I was old enough to pick up a crayon, with drawing playing a center stage role all the way through my teen years. I've always had a love for color and design, especially stationery and paper goods. I also had a mild obsession with cartoons past the normally acceptable childhood age (Muppet Babies, anyone?), everything Poochie (stamps! stickers!) and begged my parents every year to take me to the local RV show so I could tour the interiors and point out which ones needed design help. I mean, what five year old is interested in RV interior fabrics? This girl.

It was certainly written in the stars for me to be an artist, so it is no surprise that after an almost twenty-year break from drawing (trying every other creative venture I could think of), here I am! I live with my eyes and my heart, sharing what is, and what feels, lovely about life.

I've had my artwork in retail stores like HomeGoods & Home Depot, published an adult coloring book, illustrated store windows, and created hundreds of illlustrations and patterns for prints, mugs, calendars, logos, and other custom illustrations. See my portfolio for lots of samples! I'm currently represented by Pink Light Studio.

I'm looking for wonderful people and companies to partner with to create artwork that encourages a bit of that ridiculous hope of mine. And maybe one day I'll create fabric for RV upholstery? A girl can dream.
