5 out of 5 starsThese candlesticks are just exquisite. I was afraid that they would be too big for my needs, but they were perfect. The seller very kindly included a polishing cloth and instructions for maintaining the shine on these. Thanks so much.

5 out of 5 starsI met Kimberly at a street fair and fell in love with the cuffs she was selling. She had a variety of sizes and textures but not the exact one I was looking for. I spoke with her there and she gave me her card and requested I send her a picture of the texture of the cuff I liked and the measurement of my wrist. I did so the following week and she got to work. Whenever there was an update with the progress of my piece, she would let me know. In terms of picking up my cuff, she gave me many options and let me decide what worked the best for me. All of this built up my excitement for my cuff, and when I received it was SO EXCITED! It fit PERFECTLY and was exactly what I was looking for. Definitely would recommend her to friends and family (and will). Will be back to shop again soon.

Me, in my studio, goofing around and playing like I'm a T-Rex. Because that's how we roll around here...
I make jewelry, accessories, and small scale sculpture. Sometimes I make other stuff too.
If you're looking for sales, I occasionally do flash sales that are announced only on Instagram, so If you're interested in that, you should go follow me there! Instagram.com/manicmetals
In my life, I hold lots of roles - metalsmith, artist, human, wife and mother, but that doesn't really say much about me. I love to learn things, experience new cultures and new places, spend time in nature, make stuff, and generally experience what the world has to offer. It's truly amazing, and I really want to see as much of it as I can!
The studio is often cluttered with multiple projects and materials and tools, mainly because I love to explore when I work. I like playing with the metals and the stones, trying to see them and how they fit together and sometimes that's done with sketching and sometimes I just make a bunch of components and play dress-up with stones and metals. It's always a fun and totally creatively meditative process, and I make lots of messes.
My background is in art, I've been taking classes since I was five in various art disciplines, and I went to college for it. I have an Associate degree in Graphics Design, but I really didn't like the work - I like to touch and feel and work with my hands, and with Graphic design, you do that on a board and in a virtual space, and it's not tactile enough. So I went back to school and got a BFA with a minor in Art History. Ever since, I've been making stuff and selling it to you!
I live and work and do festivals and fairs in Rochester, New York, where it's never warm enough, with my husband, son, and our ever-evolving menagerie of animals.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, I love to hear from people!

I have been making swell metal things for you to use, love, and enjoy since 2005. I love my job, and I feel lucky every day I get to spend making things.
Shop policies
Due to the handmade nature of my work no two pieces are ever the same. Because I am not a machine there will be imperfections, proof of the human interaction between tool and metal.
All purchases will be packed in a pretty little recycled paper jewelry box and wrapped with a shiny ribbon. It will be packed suitably for shipping and always looks great for gift-giving. If you would prefer another form of packaging please convo me.
