5 out of 5 starsI was smitten with this "Southwest scarf" when I saw it scenically modelled online. It is even more beautiful in person: rich, dramatic colors run all the way through the lovely twisted fringe. I think it looks best tossed at full width over my shoulder so the textured stripes are arrayed in all their glory! Thank you Sarah for the love and care you obviously put into this creation.

5 out of 5 starsThis scarf is even better than the photos. Lovely graduated colors here.: A generous length is the practical touchstone of this site. I'll be expecting to purchase my Holiday gifts here.

5 out of 5 starsI have several of Sarah's beautiful handwoven scarves, and each one is a beautiful color study. This one is a yummy shade of pink, that looks good enough to eat, with taupe to accentuate the texture. Each, presented with care in a lovely canvas bag, is received in great anticipation!

5 out of 5 starsThe colors in this amazing handwoven scarf are warm and soft, and crisply cool at the same time. Sarah's ability, to combine her hand dyed colors, is remarkable. I will treasure this wearable work of art! Thank you!

5 out of 5 starsThis scarf shows a subtle complexity of color presented by this weaver. It affirms the excitement I felt when I discovered this beauty. The scarf is well-finished and drapes softly. If you love fine weaving do yourself a favor and visit this site. Thank you.

Weaving in Laos
Textiles inspired by wanderlust
Hello, I'm Sarah. I am a weaver and fiber artist, currently living a nomadic lifestyle on the back roads of North America in a self-renovated vintage Winnebago motorhome.
The beauty and mystery of the natural world is my inspiration. I’m interested in the human relationship with places and landscapes. I love experimenting with color. I believe in the interconnected-ness of all things.
Weaving is the lens through which I see the world, from exploring new landscapes to connecting with my own ancestors. The slow, repetitive, and ancient process of making cloth inspires, challenges, and motivates me to seek new meaning and truth in all aspects of life.
On a simple 4-harness table loom I create handwoven patterned cloth that transforms into unique and one-of-a-kind scarves and shawls. Each one is inspired by a place in the world or a time in history and is thoughtfully made by my own two hands, thread by thread.
Thank you for visiting to visit my shop and supporting handmade, top-quality, slow fashion.
