This is my workspace - I try so hard to keep it tidy, but the nature of my work is that bits of paper end up everywhere!

When I've made a new product, I have to photograph it to make sure it looks good online ... not as easy as it sounds!

Making marvellous map location gifts and luxury greeting cards
I love all things creative and when deciding how to go back to work after having 3 children, I thought about what I loved doing when I was a child. My theory was that when you're free of any serious pressures (like mortgage, bringing children up in this crazy world etc), you are truly happy and I know I spent a great deal of my childhood making stuff (the other part I spent out on my bike, making dens, playing with friends).
I started small, just making greeting cards which I sell in three local farm shops. I then branched into Etsy and have been able to expand my repertoire. I have now added my luxury greeting card collection to my shop.
I love maps (weird I know!) so I looked into how I could use them within my craft. I spent literally months, back and forth on the phone to Ordnance Survey as I wanted to do it legally, I wanted to use up to date maps rather than vintage. I ended up coming to an agreement with regards to royalty payments so can now make pretty much anything using up to date Ordnance Survey maps.
I also am experimenting with my sewing machine and love sourcing beautiful fabrics for making bags .. when I'm more confident I'll move onto zips!
So here I am, a couple of years later, not a millionaire, but working within my time constraints and I love it!

♡ TIME TO MAKE:
Please allow 3-5 days to receive your gift. Each item is handmade from researching map locations to printing, cutting and putting together the card or frame
Delays occur normally if a client has requested a preview but not checked their mail! I email and send via Etsy previews, so please check both
I can’t offer next day delivery due to the fact glue and ink need time to dry!
♡ DELIVERY:
Always within 5 days of receiving an order. Postage via Royal Mail First Class, which is normally next working day
I cannot guarantee or be responsible for the time it takes the package to reach you as once it is in the post as this is now in the hands of the Post Office
I can offer Guaranteed Delivery but I would ask additional payment from you to cover this extra cost plus you would need to be available to receive and sign for package
