I wanted a crossbody bag that was large enough without being too large, and this is it. The ability to get a matching vegan/canvas strap was great. Communication throughout the order and shipment process was timely and frequent.

Marabara is a personal project, one woman's dream, my dream...
I strongly believe that a different way of doing things is possible. Moving away from the fast, cheap and mass production processes, Marabara strives for a SLOW making process, handcrafting bags one at a time, at a slow pace, with care and great attention to detail.
Marabara is a SMALL business, and so it will remain. One woman’s dream, taking care of and savouring the whole process, from the design of the bags to the finished product and packaging.
My aim is to handcraft light and functional bags for everyday use. SIMPLE designs, versatile and durable, to accompany you for a long time. Back to basics, sourcing quality materials plus an outstanding craftsmanship.
I love what I do and I hope that Marabara's products will bring that spirit to you and you will enjoy them as much as I do creating them!
PS, if you wonder why my logo is a little cute ghost here's the reason. We are the Geist family, half German - half Spanish, living in the countryside in Madrid, with our two kids and a Labrador dog. Geist is a german surname which means "ghost". That's why! :)

Returns and exchange details
In case you do not want the product anymore I will refund the purchase price, except for the shipping fee. Please note that for free shipping products, a 20€ handling fee will be deducted from the purchase price to cover the already incurred expenses.
Any returned product must be in the same condition as it was when shipped. The product must be unworn/unused.
When sending the returns please indicate in the parcel that it is being returned. I am not responsible for extra fees or duty charges, which would be discounted from the purchase price.
Returns items must be sent with insurance. I am not responsible for lost or damaged deliveries.
Please note that custom/personalized orders or sale items cannot be returned.
Payment
Please allow 2-5 business days for your order to be processed and dispatched. For more detailed info, please refer to the scheduled delivery date provided in the receipt. Thank you!
Shipping
The shipping is estimated to take around 3-5 business days for national deliveries (within Spain), 7-15 days for deliveries within the European Union and 15-20 for deliveries to any other destination.
In case of express deliveries the shipping time will take about 3-5 days.
Please note that a physical address is required. Deliveries to PO BOX are not accepted by most of the couriers.
Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
Your order will ship to your Etsy address. If you want to change the delivery address just let me know when placing your order.
Please make sure the address provided is correct. Postage costs for unclaimed or undeliverable packages (wrong address etc) will not be refund. Buyers are responsible for any second shipping cost if an item has been returned undelivered as well as for the additional cost this might incurred, such as courier fees or duty charges.

About the materials I use:
I am constantly searching for the best quality materials.
I use 100% cotton canvas in all our bags.
The waxed cotton canvas is produced by one of the most experienced manufactures in Scotland, working with this material since 1864.
I source the genuine leather from local manufactures.
PRODUCT CARE - waxed cotton canvas
1.- Lightly brush off dried mud and dirt
2.- Sponge wipe with cold water
3.- Let your bag dry naturally
4.- To get an uniform finish, blow evenly with a hairdryer and let it cool.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use soap or detergent. Do not machine wash. Do not dry clean. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron.
