I ordered two rings and was absolutely delighted with them when they arrived. They are both beautiful! I was also a difficult customer as I needed them quite quickly which maram jewellery very kindly arranged for me. Thank you!

I'm having a GIVEAWAY on my Facebook page to win this ring! Ruby is July's birthstone so perfect for those whose birthday is this month. Find the Facebook icon in my shop on Etsy if you want to enter.
New month, new birthstone! June's birthstone is moonstone or pearl. Really loving moonstone right now so will be expanding my range to show off this gorgeous stone. And pearls! I'll be working hard to put my pearl stash into finished jewellery. heart_eyes
In love with this ring. Another adventure into synthetic gemstones but WOW! This is a manmade Ruby and is the most delicious hot pink, absolutely stunning in real life too

About

A love affair with Seaglass and Silver....

I've had an obsession with Jewellery from an early age. If ever I was lost in a shop, my mum knew that I'd be with the beads and earrings, and she was always right. I never thought about making it into a career until my Art teacher at High School discovered my natural ability...I hadn't even though it was relevant to my studies. With not a lot of persuasion I signed myself up for every metalwork/design skill/pottery/photography class going. Anything that I thought would inspire my jewellery making I signed up to.
I was ecstatic to gain a place studying Jewellery and Silversmith in Glasgow, honoured to gain entrance to the prestigious Edinburgh College of Art. But life happens, somehow Art School and I didn't get along, and the next thing I knew I was in London, working away in Interior Design. My tools were left behind because of my tiny flat so bead-work was my only option, but then textiles grabbed me, so I began a brief affair with embroidery, dressmaking, sewing.
Then something magical happened. I moved house. My kids were no longer toddlers. I had a teeny space that I called my work desk. And a friend who asked me to fix her ring.....

As well as running my shop, I'm also a team leader in the fabulous Glasgow Etsy Team. I love the community we've built with local makers, and love supporting them on their journey.

**PLEASE check my shop announcement for up to date shipping info, and double check Shipping Times ***

Ready-to-Ship Items are usually mailed within three business days of the payment being received.
Made to Order items (eg rings, or custom sized bracelets) will be dispatched within 3-4 weeks at peak times, sometimes sooner. I send a confirmation email that the item is posted, along with tracking code if one is issued. Please note, no commission will be started without receiving payment first.

Occasionally I need to extend shipping dates during busy periods, or school holidays so always check my shop announcement for the most up to date information.

For hygiene reasons, earrings for pierced ears cannot be refunded unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Items occasionally go missing in the post. Please contact me after 31 days if you have not received your package.
Additional policies and FAQs
All items listed contain relevant measurements, please double check any bracelet and ring sizes before ordering. I am happy to adjust sizing if necessary before dispatch, but once item has been sent, it will be at your own cost to return and resend the item if an error has been made!

Discount Codes: From time to time I offer discount/coupon codes in my shop. Please be aware that the codes are not valid for use for the purchase of Gift Vouchers or on Custom Order products where I have agreed a price by message. Custom Order purchases may already contain a discount which will be detailed in any conversation we have about the order. Voucher codes can of course be used freely when spending a maramjewellery gift voucher, just not on the initial purchase of the voucher.

Care of items:
Please take care of your items to ensure a long life for them. It is not recommended that they are immersed in water or get in contact with chemicals such as perfume, hairspray or household cleaners; this will tarnish them and dull the colour. Some of my items are delicate by design, please treat them delicately too.
Cleaning- use of a silver polishing cloth recommended. Please do not use any liquid cleaners on any pieces containing stones as it may damage them.

All sales are subject to UK and EU law

Frequently asked questions

How do I measure my ring size?

Simple! Either by popping to a local jeweller to get sized, or ordering one of my low cost ring sizers here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/115323413/ring-sizer-uk-ring-sizer-ring-gauge-uk
Please don't guess, or rely on a measurement taken years ago- it's quicker (and cheaper) to take a bit of time to check than get it resized later. I'd prefer not to work on measurements taken by string/diameters etc as there can be errors made using these methods.

Can you resize my ring?

Yes, but only if it's a maramjewellery ring. I can resize up by one size free of charge (you'll pay return postage though) but anything larger or resizing to a smaller size will incur a charge as I need to remake the rings from scratch. Please message me for details.
