*Clever headline*

I've been making jewelry since high school, when I apprenticed with a blacksmith. She taught me the foundation of my craft and I've taken it from there.
From the beginning I've been interested in reusing things in jewelry - taking that earring that lost its mate and making it into a pendant so it can be worn again, reusing the beads from a broken necklace, restringing a gaudy bracelet into something more stylish. That combined with my magpie tendency to covet pretty objects and soon I was incorporating less traditional things. My current love is parts of broken computers, from circuit boards to resistors to the little clips holding components together. There is a lot of beauty in these utilitarian bits and parts, and it's a shame to hide them inside a dull gray box - I see my role as transitioning them from their former use to one bringing aesthetic pleasure.

I am an Austrian from New Mexico who finds herself in Portland, Maine these days. When I'm not recycling goofy things like circuit boards into jewelry, I work on saving and restoring old buildings.

Welcome! My shop showcases and offers jewelry that is all hand made by yours truly. I incorporate recycled computer parts as well as old pieces of jewelry which are damaged or in need of new love with new materials to give the whole my own twist. If you see something you like, I want to make it yours! I hope these policies help that happen, but if you still have questions, please feel free to ask.

Returns and exchanges
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please let me know! I will do what I can to make sure you are 100% satisfied.

I will gladly take returns within 14 days of purchase, but return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer except in cases where the problem was my mistake (shipped the wrong item, for example). A refund will be issued as soon as the item is back in my hands.

If the item arrives damaged, please take a clear photo and send it to me so I can make a damage claim with USPS.
Payment
At this time I only accept Paypal, but I can make special exceptions - just let me know and we'll work something out!
Shipping
Ready made items will ship out within three business days of payment receipt depending on current volume, but usually faster than that. Custom and made to order items take longer as I have to make them - specific times vary from item to item and are in the listing descriptions (for made to order) or will be individually quoted (for custom).

Items are shipped via USPS first class, unless expedited shipping is chosen in which case USPS Priority Mail is used. Further expedited shipping is available, please contact me with your time frame and location and I will get back to you with a specific quote.

For US customers, the listed options are estimates based on USPS quotes from the time the package leaves my hands at the post office (which is generally within 1-3 days of the order being placed, unless the item is made to order). Often items get there faster than this, but if you need to be sure of super speedy delivery, please contact me for a price quote.

For international customers, the shipping times are approximate and customs may delay items. This is beyond my control, but I will do what I can to get things to you quickly. If you have a particular time constraint, contact me and I will let you know what can be done and if there will be an additional cost for expedited shipping.
