My stackable bangles are amazing. They have a really nice surface. I can't wait to purchase more Marbelle designs. I do love my 2 bangles as they are easy to wear. I also loved dealing with Belinda about my order. The delivery of my order was packed beautifully and arrived in time.

About

Creating Hearts Smiling in Colour

Here at Marbelle Design its all about creating gorgeously colourful jewellery and small home accessories that bring a smile to customers' hearts whenever they are worn or used.

As the sole creator and owner of Marbelle Design, Belinda finds inspiration from the beautiful coastline that is her home - the ocean and the escarpment of the Australian New South Wales South Coast. Belinda is also partial to a pop (or rather lashings) of colour and happily custom colours her designs in her customer's favourite hues.

“I love being able to escape into my studio to mix a new resin creation. I’m inspired by the hues of the local rock pools and ocean, the nearby rolling dairy pastures and the bursts of wildflower colour from the eucalypt escarpment” ~ Belinda

Science and Art are intertwined in the multi-stepped process to produce a new piece of jewellery. Whilst the liquid mixing process requires accurate ratios and chemical reactions to ensure a solidly set piece of jewellery, the colouring and shaping of the jewellery requires creative nous and imagination. Experimentation often produces the most gorgeous results - an uncalculated “lets see what this will look like” mix of pigment will produce a stunning unique piece.

Resin is poured into moulds and when set it undergoes a handsanding process, coarse sandpaper removes the jags and over pour, with progressively finer sandpaper used until the piece has a smooth rounded finish. Depending on the desired surface finish, the piece will be buffed with oil to give a matt finish or polished to a shine.

Marbelle Design was created out of frustration at being unable to find colourful and affordable accessories that I loved to wear! So I made my own.

My name is Belinda. I am a mum of three and now a stay at home mummy. In my spare time I started making jewellery. I liked it, other people liked it, so now I am making it for you!

Custom orders a specialty. Pick your style and colouring and I'll make a unique one-off piece just for you. Or simply browse through the listings and pick out your special piece.

Additional policies and FAQs
Due to the handmade nature of these bangles the size may vary slightly, however I try to keep sizes consistent and as accurate as possible. The best way to work out your size is to measure a bangle you already have. Another way to work out your bangle size is to make a fist and measure the length from the outside of the first knuckle to between the third and fourth knuckle. Most of my bangles are either medium 65mm or large 68mm in diameter.

How to work out your Ring Size

Firstly, measure the finger you will wear your ring on when it is at its largest (end of the day whilst warm).Fingers swell in the heat, so do not measure cold fingers. For an accurate reading it is best to measure the finger at the end of the day when the finger is at its largest.
To measure the finger all you need is :
- a piece of string, say 15cm (6 inches) long (a strip of paper will do just as well)
- a pen to mark the string/paper
- a ruler
Firstly, wrap the piece of string or paper around the base of the finger that you want to measure.
Then, take the pen and mark on the string or paper where it overlaps to form a complete circle around your finger.
Then, run the string or paper along your ruler to measure it's length in mm.
Compare this measurement with the chart below to find the nearest measurement to yours. This will then be the size you require.
Finally, carry out the same measurement around the knuckle of the finger you wish for it to fit. Sometimes the knuckle is larger than the base of the finger. If this is the case take the size based on the knuckle as the ring size required.

Ring Size (USA) :
Size. 4 4.5 5 5.5 6 6.5 7 7.5 8 8.5 9 9.5 10
mm : 46.5 47.8 49 50.3 51.5 52.8 54 55.3 56.6 57.6 59.9 60.3 61.6

Ring Size (USA) :
Size. 10.5 11 11.5 12 12.5 13
mm : 62.8 64.1 65.3 66.6 67.9 69.1

Whilst resin is strong and quite durable it may break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. Apply moisturiser or oil (vegetable oil is fine) and wipe off with a soft dry cloth to keep your jewellery in good condition and restore shine.

I do wholesale my goods. Please convo me if interested and I can forward you a wholesale info pack.
