The French Way of Life

My husband and I live in a small town in France next to the river island that flows from Périgueux in the Dordogne.
We work like crazy, but on different things. I work mainly on my shops, with a little gardening and cooking for fun: I like making brioche and apple tartlets and growing stuff; everything grows very well in our valley. This year we had pounds of wild cherry tomatoes!
Richard's first loves are exquisite dinners of cooking and taking photographs of food, but he also spends time on DIY projects and there are plenty of them inour old stone house.
I love selling and have two stores, this one with mostly original vintage prints and the odd bit of work done. My online store, which sells some weird handbooks as well as bookbinding tutorials, can be found here:
This shop started as a way to reduce my collection of prints, but now has its own dynamism. Here in France, with its plethora of "flea markets" and the "empty granaries" there is a new opportunity to find other treasures for your enjoyment. Needless to say, I have increased my collection of prints! If you are on the lookout for anything, just send a message or send me an email at [! to]

Frequently asked questions
When will I receive my order?

International shipping is usually reliable and fast but during the holiday season it can take longer. Deliveries from France normally take between 7-10 working days but it cannot be guaranteed. Occasionally there are customs' delays so please allow for that.

Can my order be marked as a gift?

No, because international laws prevent this. To conform to international import/export laws, I must complete the customs' form accurately, including value of the item, and also include a receipt within the envelope.
