I started working with chainmail over 15 years ago. After the first time I saw a completed piece in person I was mesmerized by the pattern and wanted to try it for myself. Two pair of pliers and a few hundred rings later, I was hooked. After many years of enjoying the hobby, I started Marci's Chain Designs in 2009.

It’s a joy to be able to bring a bit of history into the modern world through creative uses of the interlocking rings of chainmail. I love being able to take something so integral to the Middle Ages and recreate it, making it into something new and contemporary. Each creation is a beautiful and unique handcrafted piece of functional, wearable art.
