Where did all these creatures come from?

It started with really big, full size sculptures that ranged from 6 to 10 ft tall, and 13 to 25 feet across. I love making the big stuff, but most people didn't have room for large installation pieces. I started making small art pieces that could be hung on the wall, since most people have some nook or cranny that needs a little something in it, even in the smallest houses. I find making these small critters to be fun and peaceful, so important in these topsy turvy times.

The T-shirts have their own story, they are hand-crafted without toxic chemicals (so, the old fashioned way, without harm to the water, air, or the maker) and their imperfections are just part of that hand-wrought process. The images emerge from the soul painting process that digs deep into the unconscious through creative expression, and ask to be their own centerpiece. They bring me joy.

Enjoy!!

My creations draw from archetypes, mythology, dreams, spirit realms, and the healing journey. I hang out on the fringes following my own fancy rather than cultural trends, offering my creations as an outsider artist.
