Announcement    3/25/23 - Thank you for visiting! The spring break vacation is coming soon. I'll be keeping the shop open but extending the time it takes for me to complete items made to order. The ready to ship items will not be available while I am away.

I create quality products that are unique. I love playing with fabric and the process of creating a beautiful, functional product. I am not a fast sewer - I am a careful sewer - and my products are high quality because I am a careful creator. Read the reviews and you can see that people who have purchased from me agree that I make a great product. You are making a choice to have a one of kind item that is functional and beautiful. I offer double pocket oven mitts, smaller hot finger potholders, glass straw holders and the other occasional items such as tote bags, purses, clutches, wallets. Well, really, if it involves a sewing machine, colorful fabric and some creativity, I am happy to make it.

I particularly focus on Celtic designs and dragonflies and love to incorporate elements from these into most of my work.

Because I care about the environment, I generally mail items in recyclable paper or repurpose already received mailing materials. I also donate a portion of my profit to the Natural Resources Defense Council (read about their work here: https://www.nrdc.org/).

I am easy to work with to create a custom item that meets your needs. I spent years involved in the design process and communication around building software and that professional skill is repurposed in the way that I will work with you to create your item. Many of my offerings have been shaped by individual requests for items.

And, well, if for some reason what you get did not meet your expectations, I'll often work to resolve the issue. If you scroll through my reviews, you'll find one person who was disappointed. But you can also find her review of how I turned that around to get a 5 star rating from her.
