About

Breathing life into paper & paint, ink & glue

My mother saved every picture I made as a child, which she kept in a 3 ring binder with a fierce sort of pride. To this day she carefully stores all my college canvases and covers the walls of her home with my art!

I graduated with a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and spent some years afterward letting my creativity bubble in spurts and stops and generally learning to LIVE and love and travel. One day, a little heartbroken and lost, I started making things again and actually finishing them.

I try to follow my intuition and and create things that I genuinely enjoy the process of, whether they be "art" or "craft" or "illustration". I've spent years making funny drawings and serious drawings and oil paintings, writing stories to illustrate and crafting finger puppets from recycled materials, turkey's out of milk jugs at work, portraits of bar patrons. It is all coming together now and I'm not sure it matters what label you give it, it is me.

I make positive environmental choices every day in my work, using 100% recycled papers for my cards and envelopes, water based inks for screen printing, as well as reusing and repurposing paper and packaging in my shipping process.

My life revolves around good local food, animals, tall mountains, the ocean, unique people around me and all the roads I have yet to travel. I hope that some of this shines through in my work and I appreciate the opportunity to share it with you!

Hello!

Thank you for taking some time to view the items in my shop!

Though I make many types of art, most of the work represented here are original prints, drawings and paintings on paper.

Some useful information:

All prints are original work of art, not reproductions, each is part of a limited edition, numbered, signed & dated by me.

Monoprints & monotypes are one of a kind, each is completely unique and no others exist.

Cards, reproductions & puppet pieces are printed with high quality archival inks on acid free papers and card stocks. See individual listings for details on 100% cotton art papers and post consumer recycled papers.
