    Me & Maria

I am a designer who decided to do something different. Something to represent my way of seeing the world.

I grew up, encouraged by my family and my childhood books, in a fantastic world surrounded by trees, flowers, smells and small magical creatures. The right place to develop a creative mind.

It's this magic that I intend to pass, so that our children can also grow with imaginative freedom and in harmony with nature.

I created these little creatures and called them Galhatrapos.
They are creatures that only exist in nature, were born and are part of it.
Each one has its name, which presents some uniqueness of the tree they represent .

You'll probably not understand the names because some are in Portuguese and others in Latin, but I think it's not important, you can call it whatever you decide! What really matters is to feel its uniqueness and its importance in nature and imagination.

Maria Mascarilha (it’s a name but I can translate it as something like Mary Mask) is my alter ego, a character created to accompany me in this project and that one day became a brand.
