Mostly Flowers

I was first of all a painter and naturally, flowers are one of my favourite subjects. You can see more of my art work, which includes still lifes, landscape, and mixed media pieces on my website (1st website link below) and my Facebook pages. By the way, pricing paintings is difficult. If you like one of my paintings please feel free to make a reasonable offer. I won't be offended and I can always refuse if I don't think it's enough.

I have recently joined a great site supporting artists, Love from The Artist. For its members, 'Love From The Artist' prints sale-on demand cards, and cards of many of my paintings are available from there, including a range of cards designed with dolls' house lovers and miniaturists in mind (2nd website link below). Because LFTA's mission is to support artists, they take no artist commission, and their cards can sometimes be priced a bit cheaper but the quality remains excellent.

I prefer Paypal which is reliable and safe for both customers and sellers. Customers don't need a Paypal account but can use their credit/debit card as a guest, and unlike Etsy, Paypal has phone support 24/7 in the unlikely event of a problem.

I have had my Etsy shop for seven years with 100% 5 star reviews from wonderful customers. An enormous thank you to you all.

Please read the shop policies (aka T&C) before purchasing even though they may seem tedious and/or forbidding. They are rather lengthy to comply with EU distance selling regulations. Etsy adds a notice 'VAT included (where applicable)' to listings. To clarify, mine is a micro-business, I am not registered for VAT (nor required to be) and no VAT is charged on my products (or included in the prices). I do my best to have happy customers who are pleased with their purchases and overall buying experience.

Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
❑ I am happy to refund in full (item and outward shipping cost plus cost of return shipping) if there should be a fault with any of my items and the faulty product is returned in suitable packaging (preferably the packaging in which it was received unless this has been damaged). Please notify me by Etsy convo/email if you return a package and include the tracking number.
Be sure to mark any returned package 'Merchandise, Returned to Sender'. Any import charges imposed by UK customs if your returning item is over £15 in value will be deducted from the refund amount, but these charges are avoidable if your return is clearly marked 'Merchandise, Returned to Sender'.

❑ If your purchase has arrived with either the item or the packaging damaged, please send me photos of the damage right away (photos are needed for an insurance claim).

❑ I cannot offer exchanges as my items are all individually made and I will not have (or be able to make) an identical replacement.

❑ You have 14 (calendar) days in which to return an item if you simply decide you don't want it, without explanation. Items must be returned by a tracked service with proof of delivery and packed so that no damage is sustained en route. Please note, if you are returning an item because you have simply changed your mind, the return postage will not be refundable, and a deduction will be made if the items are not received back in the same condition as they were despatched. Returned item packages must be marked 'Merchandise, Returned to Sender' to avoid Import VAT charges, (see above).

❑ If you cancel your order after it has been despatched, please do not accept or open the package when it arrives, but request it is returned to sender and mark it clearly 'Merchandise, Returned to Sender', unless the packaging has been damaged (see above). Payment
❑ I prefer payments to be made via Paypal, but you do not need to have an account with Paypal. You can use your card to pay as a guest. Please note, any sales/import taxes levied by your own state/country are not included in the item price, are not the seller's responsibility and it is illegal for sellers to mark packages as gifts in order to avoid them.
Shipping
❑ Shipping is combined on multiple purchases - the details for your locality are given in the cart. Inland UK packages are sent by RM first class post. Any significant shipping overcharge in the total calculated by Etsy's system will be refunded.

❑ I ship 1-3 working days after payment is received. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee delivery times as these depend on postal services and international packages may also be delayed by customs checks.

❑ My items are all handmade and generally fragile, and are packaged safely, usually in stout outer boxes with biodegradable (corn) chips around an inner container. If you are allergic to corn, please let me know WHEN PURCHASING (a delay may mean your package is already in the mail) and I can pack your item(s) using non-eco chips. Most of my boxes are new, but I occasionally recycle suitable boxes.
