The painting is Beautiful, and her work is stunning.I Love this picture because it looks like me when I was a little girl, I always Loved horses and ponies too.Thank you Maria!!!!
I am fascinated by the bond that connects animals to our human lives.
A brief background, Animal Science Degree in undergrad, Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) I opened, owned, and managed a small animal veterinary practice.
I jumped out of an airplane in college, spent a summer varnishing sailboats in Newport Rhode Island, witnessed the Northern Lights one late night in Durham, New Hampshire.
I have an amazing husband (also a veterinarian) whom I met in vet school, have two wonderful children (nearly grown!). I am an experienced horse show and marching band mom. I am currently learning how to ride a horse again.
I recently picked up a paintbrush and began to paint.
I focus my artwork on horses, dogs, cats and different aspects of nature. I have always been fascinated by the bond that connects animals and nature to our daily lives.
I carved out a little space, "The Art Cellar", with loud music, the dogs sleeping, a few under-watered house plants and an overfed goldfish.
Nearly every day I paint.
Current Thought is to “Never Give Up On something You Can’t Go A Day Without Thinking About”
