Love the red glover leave in conditioner.. Work great for my daughters hair.. The curl cream great for my hair, didn't try the deep conditoner yet nd i love using the butter for my baby girls hair!

DO YOU OFFER FREE SAMPLES?:
We do not provide FREE samples to try our products before you purchase. Our products are quite expensive to manufacture and we simply don’t have the funds to send out free products. We do offer Hair & Skin Sample Packs and Goodie Bags which are a great way to experiment with our products to see how they will work best for your hair and skin.

However, as a token of our appreciation for ordering, we occasionally include a product sample with an order. Please note, we ask that customers do not request samples as product samples are not guaranteed.

PRODUCT SHELF LIFE:
Our products are made using natural ingredients and a reliable, safe paraben-free preservative.

The unopened shelf life of our water based products is 3 years. After the product is opened the shelf life is typically 18 months. The unopened shelf life of our non-water based products (example: whipped hair and body butters) is 1 year. After the product is opened the shelf life is typically 6 months. It is best to store our products in a cool, dark place.

PRODUCT ABBREVIATION:
We've created hair and body products specifically for customers who are butter-sensitive, oil-sensitive and protein-sensitive. These products are noted as OILESS, BUTTERLESS or PROLESS. Please see our Product Abbreviation List below.

ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS:

PRIMARY SHIPPING CARRIERS:
We use USPS Priority Mail and USPS First Class International Mail as our primary carrier to ship our packages. We may use FedEx Home Delivery depending on the shipping location.

• All Shipments through USPS come with a tracking number.

• We provide a tracking number via email as soon as the package is scanned by USPS on day of shipment.

• Unless requested, our shipping method does not require Adult Signature at the time of delivery.

• Adult Signature fee is $2.35 for USPS.

USPS SHIPMENT DAYS:
We ship USPS packages on Saturdays only.

PLEASE NOTE:
When USPS Priority Mail is used as the shipping method, it is NOT a guaranteed service. The estimated delivery time is 2 days but delivery of packages can actually take up to 5 days to an undetermined number of days. The only guaranteed service through the USPS is Express Mail which delivery time is 1-2 business days. If you would like Express Mail, please convo us and we can upgrade your shipping fee and send you the adjustment fee via PayPal.

LOST, DAMAGED or STOLEN USPS PACKAGES AFTER DELIVERY:
Occasionally, USPS will ring your doorbell, oftentimes they will not. If you are not at home at the time of delivery your package may be dropped at your doorstep or another location near your residence by the delivery driver.

We have no control over where USPS may leave your package. Any package left at your doorstep or another location near your house is your responsibility. We will not be responsible for lost, damaged or stolen packages after they have been delivered.

Again, it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the recipient will be home on the day of delivery to accept the package. No refund will be issued and no order will be reshipped if USPS has updated your package information as “Delivered.”

RESIDING IN AN APARTMENT BUILDING OR WILL NOT BE HOME AT TIME OF DELIVERY:
If you reside in an apartment building OR know that you will not be home at the time of a delivery to accept the package, OR your residence is not safe to leave a package at, please convo us and/or include a comment in the “Note to Marie Dean” box on the first check out page to request one of the following shipping options:

• Hold your package at a nearby USPS location (FREE).
• Adult Signature - requires the signature of someone who is 21 years
of age or older at the recipient's address ($2.35 USPS).
• We will email you a PayPal invoice for the Adult Signature fee.

We are a small business and cannot afford to remake an order and reship for free after we have received confirmation of delivery.

PROOF OF DELIVERY FOR ORDERS $250 OR MORE:
• Domestic orders of $250 or more will require an Adult Signature at delivery.

USPS RETURNS:
If you fail to claim your package from USPS, it will be returned to Marie Dean, marked as “unclaimed,” and we will not reship your package for free. You will be responsible for all shipping costs to have the package shipped out for a second time. If a refund is requested, we will deduct the cost of shipping we paid to ship your package be it more (or less) and the shipping cost billed to Marie Dean for the return of the package.

SHIPMENT REFUSAL:
If your package is returned due to refusal of delivery, you will be responsible for the actual cost of shipping we paid to ship your package be it more (or less) and the return shipping charges. You will be refunded back your order's original cost and taxes (if applicable) less the shipping fees.

TRACKING YOUR USPS PACKAGE:
We will email you a tracking number after your order is shipped. Please be sure to track your package and make arrangements for someone to accept it upon delivery.

USPS CLAIMS:
Claims for shipments lost with the USPS will not be initiated until 30 days after date of shipment to give the post office time to make delivery on packages that may be delayed in transit. We cannot process a claim for a shipment that is scanned as "Delivered" by the post office. Contact your post office and speak to your postal carrier as soon as you determine you haven't received your shipment.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:
We DO NOT ship internationally to Africa, Australia, Brazil, Greece, Italy, parts of Northern Europe/European Union, Mexico, Russia, the Philippines, South America and Southeast Asia.

We will use USPS First Class Mail International or USPS Priority Mail International for all International shipments.

Please do not ask us to declare your merchandise as Used Goods, Gifts or Samples, or to under declare its value.

International orders may take up to 30-45 days or longer to arrive. Often, international packages are held at customs for 4 weeks or more before being delivered. United States Postal Service has no control of the delivery of mail once your package reaches the destination country.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS WHO USE FREIGHT FORWARDERS:
Marie Dean's shipping responsibility ends once your package is delivered to the freight forwarder's address and is accepted, received and signed the handover of your package.

Please note that Marie Dean is not responsible for any missing items or damage incurred during the delivery/shipment of your package from the freight forwarder address to your homeland's address.

CUSTOMS COSTS FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS INCLUDING SHIPMENTS TO FREIGHT FORWARDERS:
The shipping charges you pay to Marie Dean do not include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. International orders are generally subject to customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. We are not responsible for, nor can offer any specific advice regarding any customs related fees that you may incur. Additional charges for customs clearance must be accepted by you. Please check with your country's customs officials for any rules regarding importing cosmetic (beauty) products.

If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to Marie Dean and we will be charged the customs fees plus return shipping costs. Therefore, we do not issue refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay the customs fees.

UNCLAIMED INTERNATIONAL PACKAGES:
Depending upon the country and postal service, it is possible that your order may be held at your local post office for pick up rather than delivered straight to your door. This can be done for a variety of reasons including but not limited to when the recipient misses the first attempted delivery and when customs fees are due. While the postal service will leave notice that delivery was attempted, we also strongly encourage buyers to monitor the progress of their order using the tracking information provided.

USPS INTERNATIONAL CLAIMS:
Claims for USPS International shipments can take up to 2 months to complete. If your shipment is lost or damaged, we can only initiate a claim after the 30th day of shipment and prior to the 60th day.

ABANDONED USPS INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:
There will be no credit or refund to the customer for the order if the package is abandoned at customs.

SUMMER SHIPPING NOTICE FOR:

During the hot summer months, we are unable to guarantee that the hair or body butters will arrive in the same condition that they were sent. Hair and body butters purchased during hot weather may melt during shipping. If melting occurs, simply place the hair and/or body butter in a cool place or the refrigerator until it becomes firm. These items cannot be refunded or exchanged if they melt.
Refunds and Exchanges
RETURNS & REFUNDS:
We do not accept returns or make exchanges under any circumstances. No exceptions. All of our products are handcrafted and made-to-order and therefore, we do not accept returns, issue refunds or credits. We do not exchange our products or give refunds if a hair or body product scent* is not to your liking or if there are variations in color and texture. If you are unsure of a particular scent, please order the small size first before purchasing a large size. Packages returned to us will be discarded and cannot be returned to the customer!

Hygienic concerns render us unable to resell returned merchandise. We have chosen to keep our pricing reasonable, include a free sample with every order, supply Goodie Bags and Samples Packs to test our hair and body products, and offer frequent sales and discounts to you so it doesn't take a large investment to try our products.

If you have any questions about your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order so we can provide you with the best customer service solution possible.

FRAGRANCE SENSITIVE:
If you are allergic to fragrances, have a super sensitivity sense of smell or develop reactions to certain scents and smells, we highly recommend you order an unscented version of a product. Bear in mind that when ordering unscented products -- what you smell is what is in the product. Unscented products are not returnable and are not refundable.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I AM INTERESTED IN A PRODUCT OR FINANCIAL DONATION TO SUPPORT OUR LOCAL ORGANIZATION. WHOM DO I CONTACT?
At this time, Marie Dean is not currently providing product or financial donations.

WHAT CAN I DO IF USPS OR FEDEX TRACKING SAYS THAT MY PACKAGE IS DELIVERED, BUT I DON'T HAVE MY PACKAGE?
First, don’t panic. Second, please do not send us impolite or offensive email communications. This will not help the situation

Tips to help locate your missing package:
1.) Check with your leasing or manager’s office.

2.) Check all possible areas outside of your home, including garages, porches and bins. Also, check with family members as one of them may have inadvertently set the package aside.

3.) The USPS driver may have hidden the package behind bushes or hedges, so check your yard thoroughly.

4.) Ask your neighbors if they witnessed the delivery or if USPS delivered the package to them.

5.) Show this information to your USPS driver, as the driver may remember when your package was scanned and delivered. Also, please describe the shipping box to the driver. USPS packages are shipped in Regional Rate A boxes.

6.) Please wait a few more days to see if the package shows up.

What we will do:
1.) We will contact your local USPS office and provide them with the tracking number for your package. USPS will investigate to uncover the whereabouts of your package. The investigation may take a few days.

If you still have not been able to locate the package in your mailbox or by one of your doors OR if USPS states that the package was indeed delivered, then the next step will be:

1.) You will need to file a parcel theft report with your local sheriff or police department or the police in the community where the theft took place.

2.) We will file a mail fraud/theft report with USPS and you will need to sign an affidavit.

Important Shipping Information:
We recommend that customers who reside in an apartment building OR know that they will not be home at the time of a delivery to accept the package, OR residence is not safe to leave a package at, to please email us at customerservice [!at] mariedeanonline.com to request that we hold your package at a nearby USPS location. This service is FREE. Please be sure to email us before your shipment date.

Shipment Date:
After completing the payment for your order we will send you a confirmation by email. The confirmation email will disclose the shipping date and shipping carrier. You will receive a tracking number from USPS on the day of shipment and not before.

WHY WON'T YOU SHIP TO ANY OTHER ADDRESS THAN THE CONFIRMED ADDRESS?
Once we ship to any address other than the CONFIRMED ADDRESS sent to us by Paypal with your Transaction ID for that particular sale we leave the door wide open for chargebacks. Chargebacks are when Paypal takes the money away from us for products we shipped and fraud has occurred. We lose the products shipped, PayPal takes the money back they paid us and we also have to pay a $20 chargeback penalty fee.
