5 out of 5 starsGood quality, pattern paper is good quality. Directions seem pretty simple. Plus it has a matching little girls pattern apron that you can purchase on the side. Can’t wait to start sewing.

5 out of 5 starsI wish I could give 10 stars for customer service. We had a little glitch (no ones fault), and the owner, Kristie went above and beyond to fix it and then some. She was kind, friendly, super helpful and generous! Thank you so much, Kristie! The skirt pattern is new, packaged very nicely, and works for very small children up to big kids, so very versatile and economical. The style is very sweet and leaves lots of room for creativity. I would recommend this shop in a heartbeat, and I know I will revisit to purchase more unique patterns in future!

Our award-winning booth at International Quilt Market in Houston this fall (2012)!
Love. Laugh. Make.
We grew up without realizing that some people actually purchased curtains and pillows, instead of making them themselves. Almost every woman in our family is or has been an artist or seamstress of some kind! When we were very little girls, we sold our handmade creations to the neighbors (who still have some of our popular potholders).
So marie-madeline studio - named after our grandmother and great-grandmother - was launched in December of 2007, to encourage and inspire others into making beautiful things. Our exclusive line of sewing patterns debuted that same year. We consider our style vintage-meets-modern... with easy to follow instructions and full size pattern pieces, our patterns are fun for new and experienced sewists. Simple, classic styles with boutique flair, marie-madeline sewing patterns mix and match for lots of fun layering!
Almost every day of the week, you'll find the five of us in our happily crowded home studio. We like to laugh, we like to make - we love to be together! And we share the joy (not to mention craziness) with our dad, three brothers, a cat named Mr. Kitty, and three furry collies named Bo, Blayde, and Brandy.
Happy sewing!

Paps (grandpa) is our head booth builder, transporter, and definitely hands out more business cards than any of the rest of us put together. But most of all he is our hero and our biggest fan!

FAQ's...
Do you sell your patterns wholesale?
Yes! Please contact us for wholesale information. If you have an account with United Notions, you may also purchase some of our patterns through them.
How are your patterns sized?
We size all of our patterns to correspond with the size you'd wear in a nice department store. So if you normally wear a size 10, we would suggest making a size 10 in our pattern. However, since every style differs slightly in fit, we would also encourage you to check the finished measurements (located on the back cover of the pattern), to ensure that your finished garment fits correctly.
