Father-Daughter Collaboration Inspires Natural, Modern Jewelry

Recently, at the request of his daughters, sculptor Mark Knize developed a jewelry collection of modern earrings and rings showcasing the stunning natural variation of wood and stone.

Often using reclaimed wood from orchards in the Central Valley of California, Mark uses a lathe and hand-finishing techniques to craft his elegant, timeless wood jewelry.

Sourcing a new material made of crushed stone and brass alloy, Mark has expanded his jewelry line beyond wood to include colorful, extraordinary accessories. This composite material is lightweight, strong and features intricate veining patterns.

Seeking those who value handcrafting and quality, Mark's daughter Sarah launched the shop of her Dad's work in August of 2012.

Thanks for visiting!

Additional policies and FAQs
When you buy a ring, you also receive a handmade fabric bag, perfect for gifting or travel (fabric print varies). A personal note on a gift tag is available at no extra charge (please include in 'message to seller').

Earrings are shipped in oxibiodegradable film bags with paper earrings backing.

Homewares are shipped in tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard box.

Composite stone rings are 85% natural stone ore and 15% acrylic gem resin and sourced in the USA. Stone rings are low maintenance but we recommend these are treated with care.

Wooden items are hand-made and go through a many-step hand sanding process before being finished with several coats of polyurethane or cyanoacrylate which leaves a durable finish. Wooden items are also low maintenance, but should be treated like fine furniture and contact with water avoided.

Please note, accessories shown are made from natural materials that have inherent variation, therefore each ring has slightly different graining or veining patterns.
Please contact us about availability of other ring sizes or earrings not shown.
