I haven't had a chance to use this wire yet, and I'm a newbie at making something that will utilize high temp wire, BUT I can say that my order came so very quickly and was packaged very well. Great service! I'm looking forward to trying out the wire.

These rods totally collapsed during a firing (cone 5) I lost all my work. It supposed to stay until cone8, different than prescration .

I have made 2 attempts at contacting HeeSoo. As of today, I have not received the requested photograph of the failed bead rod. It is clearly stated in the description of these bead rods that overloading will cause them to slump. The following statement is in the description: (NOTE: Do NOT overload! If the rods are overloaded, they WILL slump and cause your beads/pendants to slide and fuse together.) It also states that the rods are "rated to Cone 8." If the rod was not overloaded and was only fired to Cone 6 it is impossible for them to "collapse." I have personally used these Bead rods for over 20 years and have sold them for 10 years without any issues.

About

I live to create

Many moons ago in a far away place, I saw clay. I touched it. It was squishy. I made a mud pie and contemplated the possibilities of this substance. Fast forward many sunrises to a time when I was in a classroom and my teacher held up a ball of this magical medium for all to see. He handed it to me and said, "Go forth and create." So I did. ;-D
