Thank you for visiting Marlo Noel Jewelry. All jewelry is handmade by me to order, at my seaside home in California.

I will answer any questions you have about my jewelry prior to making a purchase, so feel free to ask.

I take macro shots of my jewelry to post here on Etsy, and describe the correct dimensions in each listing. The size of the jewelry in the pictures is generally larger than actual size, to show quality and detail in each stone. If you're unsure of the actual size of a stone or a piece, please ask before purchasing, and I will clarify.

Since nothing is made until you order it, and every gemstone is different, expect slight variations in the stones in your piece. Small inclusions in stones are occasionally present, as that is their nature. This does not affect the integrity of the stone, and I never use 'damaged' stones in my jewelry- I use the absolute best stones I have for each piece. Since everything is made to order, if you are concerned about inclusions, please ask and I will either describe or show you a detailed photo of the exact stone I will use to make your piece. Of course, handmade items are not manufactured, and that is what makes them special and uniquely yours!

I take custom orders, and often can make multiples of items listed in my shop. Gift wrapping is available at no extra charge- just be sure to mention it.

Returns and exchanges
All items are photographed by me, and due to lighting and background color inconsistencies are color edited to be more accurate. I do this to show clearer, sharper, better quality photographs. Monitor settings vary, and what I have color-corrected on my computer may not be accurately depicted on yours.

I will accept exchanges within 3 days if the jewelry has been misrepresented in some way. Jewelry cannot be refunded or exchanged if the buyer simply changes their mind or did not read the description or the Shop Policies carefully. If an item needs to be returned for any reason, contact me first to let me know. All returned items must be new and unworn, packaged as received, and fully insured. All shipping and handling costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

In the case that you are returning/exchanging an item that was sent with "Free Shipping," the cost of the shipping will be deducted from your return.

If a piece breaks due to normal wear and tear, I will fix it and return it. If I determine the piece has broken due to mishandling or misuse, I will quote the buyer a price for repair. As above, shipping costs in both cases will be paid by the buyer.

Custom orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. I will take as much time as necessary answering any and all of your questions and taking photographs of the item in different stages of completion if you request. However, if you see a photograph of the item and you're not sure on the size or scale, ask me before I finish and ship the order.
I accept PayPal as payment. California residents will be charged 8.75% upon checkout.

To ensure a smooth transaction, please make sure that your transaction has been completed through Paypal as well as Etsy. You should receive an email notification from Paypal once your transaction has been completed. If you do not receive a payment notification from Paypal, please double check that you have completed the Paypal checkout process.

Log into Etsy
Click on "Your Etsy"
Click on "Purchases"
Look in the "Status (From Seller)" column

Here you will be able to check the status of your payment. It should state "Payment Received" in the Status (From Seller) column".

If it does not state "Payment Received", Click on "Receipt" or "Invoice". This will take you into Paypal, where you can complete your transaction.

If payment is not received within 2 days, purchased item will be canceled and re-listed.
I mail all items USPS First Class mail when shipping within the US. Orders over $150 will be sent insured, but insurance on smaller orders is available for a small fee upon request.

I have never had an item 'lost in the mail,' however, if after an agreed period of time, your package has still not arrived - I will replace it with a like item. Monetary refunds will not be granted for items 'lost in the mail'.

Items sent out of the US will not be insured or with tracking unless otherwise agreed upon. When shipping abroad, customs can hold packages for up to 12 weeks. The seller is not responsible for any item shipped outside of the US that does not reach its destination.
