Hi! My name is Marquina (pronounced Mahr-KEE-nah), and you are wandering around in my shop. I'm happy you're here. WELCOME!

Here's how things work here:
Everything you see in the shop here is a product of my imagination and and inspired by some person, object, scene, place, feeling, or music that moved me to design and create.

I really want you to enjoy your visit and everything you acquire from my studio and I am happy to discuss any issues you have with my shop or items you've purchased from my shop. PAYMENT METHODS - I accept PayPal, which also processes credit card payments for non-members. I also accept personal checks which MUST CLEAR BEFORE I ship your order. Personal check orders can take 2 or 3 weeks to process before even shipping from my studio, so please make sure that this is the method that is best for you.

**I have had a customer have a check get lost in the mail before - I never even saw the check! And I don't ship if I don't get paid. So, again, be sure this method is best for you.

REFUNDS - I do not generally provide refunds - it has never been necessary. If there's a problem, let's discuss and come up with a solution.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS - If you need to cancel your order for any reason, please contact me as quickly as you can, because once I get your package in the mail, it's yours. Again, talk to me - there may be another solution.

RESERVED ITEMS - Once I have reserved an item for you, you have exactly 1 WEEK to complete your purchase. After one week, your item will no longer be reserved. *Special circumstances may apply.
SHIPPING METHODS - I ship through the US Postal Service. I have not looked into other methods since USPS has been very reliable. I have recently started using Delivery Confirmation to put my customers at ease.

Additionally, I add INSURANCE to orders over $50.

I am working at making it a habit to send you a notice to let you know when your item has shipped.

So far, I have had no problems shipping internationally, but I've been told that international shipments cannot be insured or tracked.

*You are responsible for any customs fees incurred within your country.
Refunds and Exchanges
REFUNDS - Again, I do not generally provide refunds - it has never been necessary. If there's a problem, let's discuss and come up with a solution.

EXCHANGES - For hygienic reasons, I do not do exchanges.

DAMAGES - If your order has been damaged in the mail, please let me know AND file a claim with the post office. Since the majority of my work is one-of-a-kind, I may not be able to provide a duplicate item for you, but I may be able to repair it.

LOSSES - If your item got lost in the mail, please let me know. The post office system is responsible for this type of situation, but I would like to know what is going on. Like I said before, I want you to be happy with your purchase. If there is a way to prevent losses in the future, I am going to want to look into it.
Additional policies and FAQs
CUSTOM ORDERS - I do NOT take requests or do custom orders. I rarely break this rule. Please expect the answer to be No except in rare circumstances.

WHOLESALE - Once a year I drop my prices down to somewhere near wholesale prices in order to clear out massive amounts of inventory. If you are interested in purchasing wholesale from my shop, there will be a quantity discount based on how many items you buy.

CONSIGNMENT - I am open to consignment contracts with boutiques/stores who are already moving a lot of jewelry product. 60/40 situations in my favor ONLY. (I would consider a 50/50 situation if there is a guarantee that 75% or more of my jewelry is going to sell in 3 months or less.) Contact me and we'll discuss.
