Announcement    Marsha Williamson Mohr, author of Indiana Barns and Indiana Covered Bridges, has actively been taking photographs for nearly 30 years. She has had many of her photographs in publications such as Country, Farm and Ranch Living, Indiana and Virginia Tour Guides, on postcards, calendars, in books and catalogues. Her "Claim to Fame" is photographing rural scenes and structures, even though she will have an occasional mountain or autumn scene published. Marsha's photographs are recognized by her style. Her work composing these unique rural scenes are what she aspires for; viewing, striving, arranging over and over until it's perfect, with her own individual inventive technique.

She has three published books on Indiana, two of which won the prestigious IPPY Awards. One, Indiana Barns sits on Governor Pence’s office coffee table. Check out her forth book: Indiana's Wabash River Valley due to be released first of December at http://mtpublishing.com/index.php/default/catalog/product/view/id/595/s/wabash-valley-group/#.V3V_4I54M7B. Pre-orders are available at $5 reduction, and a printed personal note is possible prior to printing available!
Taking miles to collect the library of images, this book will be highlighting the whole river from it’s beginning in Fort Recovery Ohio, to it’s terminus at the Ohio River. She will compose narrative covering the outstanding landscapes, history and cultures. All 503 miles. The importance of the Wabash to Indiana can’t be minimized. The rich history developed this state. Indiana’s state river is the Wabash, and the state song is “Oh the Banks of the Wabash, Far Away.” The unspoiled hollows and waterfalls are bountiful. For these reasons, and for our future generations, this book will be a treasure that can’t be neglected.
