Jewelry: My obsession with beads & handmade jewelry began many, many moons ago. I suppose it began the day I stopped at a bead shop on a whim and soon found myself lost among all the beauty assembled there. Walking up and down the aisles I gravitated toward the section of the shop that displayed pendants, cleverly arranged in little crystal bowls. And there he was . . . a little Buddha, rotund and chubby cheeked, carved out of pale jade rendering him almost translucent. I was smitten and without a second thought I jumped down the rabbit hole.
