Announcement   ★★★ WELCOME TO MY ART SHOP!★★★
I sell art prints, wood block prints, jewelry, hairclips, notecards and wooden boxes, all of which feature my whimsical art! My shop is ever changing, so please stop by often to see the new goodies in store. (Be sure to use the "Search in this shop" box right under this welcome message. Searching "earrings," for example, will bring up all the earrings I have available.)

I live and work in Hoboken, NJ, and am working on my Etsy shop full time these days. Each package that goes out is filled with love and little surprises...no one is ever just another customer to me.

See something you like that doesn't have the image you want? Feel free to write me! Custom orders are always welcome.

Learn more about me at my web site/blog at http://www.maryannfarley.com. I'm always telling new stories. :)

Thank you for stopping by!

NOTICE TO INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS! -- In January 2013, the USPS increased international postage fees by over 100% in most cases, meaning prices literally doubled. Regrettably, I've had to increase shipping rates for all international packages. Please read the following post for more information:

About

The Long and Winding Road

It was a little germ of an idea back in 2007, when I first opened this Etsy shop. But life was difficult, so the shop lingered, as did I, waiting for some chronic health issues to resolve, which they never did.

I nevertheless pushed forward, deciding to give up my music career for the time being and just paint. I also wrote a blog for three years titled "The Drawing Board," which documented my life in chronic pain, and it had the wonderful effect of restoring my soul and renewing my energy, which I thought for sure was gone for good.

The result? In August of 2011, I returned to my Etsy shop, only this time with renewed enthusiasm and some serious gusto! This shop has totally uplifted my spirits and restored my faith, for which I'm so grateful.

As you'll see in my work, I'm a fan of Frida Kahlo, probably because I relate so much to how she used her creativity to deal with chronic pain. Art has been a life-saver for me, and I'm just so happy to have this platform to share it with all of you.

To those who've purchased from me already, thank you! You've rocked my world. And to my new visitors...welcome! You can see/read more at www.maryannfarley.com, which is home to both my site and my blog.

Enjoy your stay, and thank you for visiting!

Welcome to my art shop! Not only do I make prints of my art originals, but I also put my images on jewelry, jewelry boxes and wood blocks so that everyone can experience a little bit of Maffy love in their lives. :)

Each item is lovingly handmade, and I'm happy to work with custom orders. See a print you like, but it's not yet been made into your favorite earrings style? Just let me know! Custom requests are no problem.

A purchase is more than just another sale to me, as you're buying my ART. My goal is to make every sales experience a joyful one, so thank you for stopping by. Every visit matters, so WELCOME.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept PayPal. If you have never used PayPal, don't worry!--it's very easy to use. You do not have to be a PayPal member to use the site, as it functions as an ordinary credit card processor, where you can use almost any credit card.
Shipping
NOTICE TO INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS! -- In January 2013, the USPS increased international postage fees by over 100% in most cases, meaning prices literally doubled. Regrettably, I've had to increase shipping rates for all international packages. Please read the following post for more information:

***************************************

I usually ship within four days of the placement of your order, depending upon the item. (Some take longer to make than others, but most take no more than four days.) During the holiday season, orders may take up to a week to go out.

USA: I use the USPS, either First Class or Priority Mail with delivery confirmation automatically included. You can typically expect your package within 7 days. If you need your package sooner, just contact me and we can arrange expedited shipping arrangements for an additional fee. Please be advised that once the package is in the hands of the USPS, delivery times are out of my control. I am not responsible for late packages.

International Orders Including Canada: All items are shipped first class mail. Tracking is only available for Canadian and UK orders at this time, but other countries will soon come online as the USPS puts more countries into its tracking system. At that time, delivery confirmation will be included.

If you would like expedited shipping, there are services like FedEx, DHL or USPS Express Mail, all of which will incur additional costs. If you would like me to ship your item using one of these services, kindly contact me and we will make arrangements.

You may also encounter additional fees at customs, for which the buyer will be responsible. Delays in customs is not the responsibility of the seller.

International First Class delivery typically takes anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks, depending upon the country and whether or not the item is stopped in customs.
Refunds and Exchanges
Buyers have 7 days to return an item for a full refund, minus shipping and fees. (See fee description in cancellation paragraph below.) Buyers must return the item in a clean, unused and undamaged condition. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

If you would like to exchange the item, you also have 7 days. A new item will not go out until the original item has been received. Again, return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

In the case of either a refund or an exchange, kindly contact me in advance to let me know that an item is on its way. Also, kindly inform me as to the reason for your decision.

In the event of an order cancellation, where the buyer is requesting that the order be cancelled (before shipment) for their own reasons, please note that a refund will be granted, but minus the standard transaction and relisting fees incurred by the merchant. When an order is cancelled, Etsy refunds the transaction fee to the merchant, but does not cover the item relisting cost. As for PayPal, the company refunds the flexible fee to the merchant, but not the fixed fee. These fees will be deducted from the refund.

To protect yourself against loss or theft in the USPS system, it is advised that you take out postal insurance and/or confirmation, as I do not replace/cover lost or stolen items. Should you like postal insurance, kindly contact me in advance of your purchase and I will issue you a private listing to cover the costs.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders will require a deposit of 1/2 the purchase price upfront. Once we agree upon the terms of your custom order, I will create a special listing for the deposit. Upon completion of the order, another special listing will be created for the remaining balance.

All deposits are non-refundable, and only certain custom orders will be returnable, depending upon the item.
