How to maintain your new jewel?
- Every piece of jewelry I create contains an original painting put under glass and even the best paper does not like water; so remember to remove your jewelry before showering, bathing, doing the dishes (for rings)... A very occasional exhibition will have no effect, but in the long term the jewel would be really damaged.- Also avoid contact with chemicals such as acetone (and the solvent during your manicures) that may eventually dissolve the glue that holds the cabochons.- If the metal of your jewel oxidizes (blackens), rub it gently with a clean fabric slightly soaked in lemon juice, it will restore its shine!
