MaryMade Creates Jewelry to Support Scholarships

I have been taking jewelry making classes at the Chicago Botanic Garden with acclaimed jewelry designer Bonnie Arkin. As a result, I have made more jewelry than I can wear or give as gifts in my natural lifetime. I love to seek out unusual treasures and create unique, beautiful and fun jewelry. While there are some themes and favorite materials, each piece is created by hand and made with love.

For many years, I have been the primary organizer and supporter of the Peter Hess Scholarship Fund at the Pedersen-McCormick Boys & Girls Club of Chicago that serves youth in the uptown community. Rather than continuing to plan annual fundraisers, I have decided to dedicate MaryMade Jewelry to support scholarships. Many Club members who have been leaders with academic potential, great financial need, and a history of community service have benefited from this program. There are four scholars each year and they join me in thanking you in advance for furthering their education.
