How it all began...
Hi! I'm Masha :)
While I stayed at home with my little daughter I started to crochet. And now I cannot imagine my life without crocheting toys!
I learned to crochet in autumn 2009... a few years before I just couldn't imagine me sitting with a hook or knitting needles... My mom knitted all the clothes that I wanted even more than I wanted )) for example I hate scarves, but my mother ignores it since my childhood... Now my daughter has three scarves knitted by my mother, and a lot of sweaters and so on... That's why I had no need to crochet or knit...
But. my daughter became older and wanted to have some toys of her favorite cartoon characters. Hm... And everything began... There were no Dora and no Boots in our shops. I looked in Ukrainian internet shops and forums... and I found! ...not the finished toys but the pattern how to crochet them.... then she wanted to have a Swiper - the character from the same cartoon... but there were no toys and no patterns... and I tried to make my first own design. The result you can see and buy in my shop :) I designed my Russian Santa Clause and Swiper the Fox after about 2 months as I first took a hook into my hand.
Now my daugter goes to school and I have much more time for my toys and patterns.
I love to create! And love to help others to create wonderful handmade things!
For me each crocheted or knitted toy has its own personality. A toy that you are creating often wants to live its own life and to have its own character. Two creations crocheted on the same pattern can differ quite a lot, and I think this is wonderful!
If you want to have just EXACTLY THE SAME you go to an ordinary toy shop at your street, or buy the toy you like already made.
I'm sure you want to create YOUR OWN toy! That's why you are looking for patterns not for toys. You are using some designs but you are making something special, something that is only yours!
So be ready to find in my patterns phrases like "Pin the eyes in different position and look how you like them better and than sew" instead of "Sew the eyes between rounds 4 and 5 strictly to the 7-th st". I show photos where you can see where I pined the eyes or where I embroidered the mouth, so you can compare and choose, maybe your eyes position will be better! If not - you can copy the face just looking at my photos.
You can find phrases "crochet 8 sc in each round till the tail is long enough, I crocheted 10 rounds". I do not instruct how long tail your animal should have, I just say how many rounds I do.
All difficult moments I tried to describe as detailed as possible with step by step photos. But if you still have some questions I'll be glad to answer any of them as soon as possible.

But it is always possible that a mistake or a misprint will manage to slip to the finished pattern :(( Please inform me as soon as you find one. If you find a grammar mistake in my English (it is quite possible - it's not my native language) I think you just excuse me for this :) or help me to improve my English if it's not too difficult for you :))
