beloved mom & pop shop in Houston now making masks from our home studio

My mom has been a seamstress in the Houston area for 25 years. She has had to close her alterations shop due to COVID-19.

It started when we decided to make masks for family and friends. Since April 1st until now (April 30th), we’ve made over 1,150 masks for local Houstonians and their families, medical professionals on the frontline, and generous individuals who purchased them to donate to those in need at hospitals and prisons.

We hope you'll find our masks easy and comfortable to wear. Thank you so much for practicing safety and for supporting small business owners!

Frequently asked questions

My masks feel too big - what are my options?

We recommend that you try throwing them in the washer and dryer on high heat so that they might shrink a bit. If you find that your masks are still loose or too big, please feel free to contact me!

Care instructions

To keep your masks clean and at optimal condition for your hygiene, we recommend 1) put them into the washer and let air-dry or 2) hand wash and let air-dry.

Custom and personalized orders

Our masks are made to fit most adults, however we've found that some customers find the masks too small, while others feel they are too big. If you are concerned about the masks being too small or big, please feel free to message me or include a note in your purchase for us to note whether we should adjust for your fit. We adjust fit by varying the looseness of the elastic bands - the longer they are, the roomier the mask will be.

We can personalize the mask to fit children's faces. Please include a note or message me how many kids' masks you'd like and for what ages!
