I received my cup today perfectly packed & intact. It is my first purchase of a hand-thrown ceramic piece, and I think it will set the tone for my future collection. The foot is cut so beautifully and really compliments the cup's silhouette (which is not only graceful but sits so well in the contours of my palm). The walls are so even and well-thrown (the cup is light and comfortable in my grip and at my lips, and it insulates well enough to grow only pleasantly warm when I filled it with my coffee). The soda glaze is lovely both in its satiny feel and its variegated appearance, and I feel certain that I'll be discovering its subtleties through long continued use. Thank you.

Welcome. Thank you for shopping my store. I am a full time artist living and working in the mountains of western North Carolina near a small river town called Marshall. My work is available in a handful of fine craft galleries around the country. I am interested in having direct contact with the customer and enjoy meeting those who will be living with my work. Etsy allows for this opportunity.

Additional policies and FAQs
POTTERY CARE:
My work is intended for your use and enjoyment. Handmade pottery needs a little more love to prolong its life than contemporary manufactured ware, so while durable and microwavable, hand washing is recommended. Do not pour boiling, stovetop water directly into handmade ware. “Pre-warming” pieces by filling with warm/hot tap water prior to pouring hot water for coffee or tea is recommended.
