Sleeve openings are a little tight. Should be enough fabric to widen the openings

Absolutely gorgeous dress and the measurements were great, it fits perfectly! I wish I had known it was semi-sheer beforehand as I'll have to wear a slip under it but it's lovely either way.

Additional policies and FAQs
If you find yourself looking at the below policies in a state of shock over the length of them, please do let us explain.......
Most of our shoppers are wonderful and are very happy with their purchase and understand the ins and outs of buying vintage items. Or even if they are not experienced vintage or antique buyers they have the common sense enough to realise that a 500 year old teapot may look as though someone made some tea in it a couple of times. But unfortunately there is always one person out there that just doesn't get it. Sooooo if your not 100% sure which category you fit in or if you just enjoy a long boring read, then here you go...Seriously though ,everyone should read this.

ABOUT SIZING:
PLEASE BE SURE IT WILL FIT: Measurements are taken as follows and at the maximum length unless otherwise stated with the fabric PULLED TAUT.
This is VERY IMPORTANT. We highly recommend you measure your clothing(something similar to what you want to buy that fits you well) and not your self.

Measurements are taken as follows.

*Shoulders from seam to seam
Chest/bust,waist and hips are all taken flat at capacity then doubled.
*Bust/chest measurements are taken from seam to seam under the arms.
*Waist is measured from side seam to side seam at the waist seam, or at the smallest part of the waist if there is no waist seam.
*Hip is measured from side seam to side seam about 8”-9” below the waist.
*Inseam from inside crotch seam to hem.
*Length from back of collar or top of shoulder strap to hem. Or from waist to hem on skirts. (unless otherwise stated)
*Sleeve from shoulder seam to hem. (unless otherwise stated)
*Sweep/flare is the bottom hem of a shirt or pant leg.

**PLEASE NOTE: Your bra size is NOT your bust size.

Vintage sizes usually runs much smaller than modern sizes. Makers of clothing new and vintage sizes can measure differently. If the measurement was taken from the underarm seams, this is not the measurement of the person wearing it. You must allow room for movement. IE a shirt that is labeled a 34 usually measures 36-42. Also depending on the garment certain items were meant to wear loose or tight. It's best to get a similar item that fits you well and measure it.

NOTE: All of our items have been stored in a clean smoke free environment without the use of toxic mothballs! But given the general nature of vintage items some pieces may have been a little dirty or dusty when we acquired them. A cleaning may be desired.

ABOUT FABRICS and other materials:
We do our best to describe fabrics and colours accurately. Computer screens may show variance in colours therefore the actual colour may be a bit different in person. Fabric content and exact colour can not be guaranteed. Please look at the photos carefully and decide for yourself. We are happy to answer any questions you may have to the best of our ability.

CONDITION RATINGS:
Vintage is unique and usually one of a kind. Usually the older the item is the more wear there is to be expected. So excellent condition for an item that's 80 years old is not the same excellent condition that a new item is. Keep in mind that VINTAGE means USED and normal age related wear is expected and is what gives these items their charm and desirability!
Please examine the photos as they are part of the description. Any major flaws will be listed.
Please consider all items as used and vintage unless otherwise stated. Even New/Old stock is still Vintage. Please consider that with most all vintage that white material may no be Bright White and may have colour aged slightly.

NOTE: All of our items have been stored in a clean smoke free environment without the use of toxic mothballs! But given the general nature of vintage items some pieces may have been dirty or dusty when we acquired them. A cleaning or polishing may be desired. We leave this up to the buyer unless we state that the item has been cleaned.
Conditions are based on how the item is at the time if the listing. We do not take responsibility for for damage that occurs after your item arrive. We will describe them to best of our ability but these are vintage items so seams can rip, things come un-glued and straps can break, etc. Please consider this when buying vintage. Buy at your own risk. There are no returns.

*Mint- Pristine, usually unworn with no issues. Please consider though, that with most all vintage clothing that white material may no be Bright White and may have colour aged slightly.
*Near Mint/Like New: Same as Mint but may have been worn once.
*Excellent: No issues unless stated. Has had gentle use and with cloth items probably includes being washed(which might lead to slight overall even fading)
*Very Good: No major issues unless mentioned. Has probably been worn and washed several times(which might lead to slight overall even fading and general wear) and may have a small imperfection or repair.
*Good: Same as Very Good. Wearable condition. May have some small repairs, moth bites, general wear, spots, fading etc.
*Fair: Usually quite wearable with some TLC. Has some issues such as repairs, fading, spots,
etc.
Although we do our best to examine items carefully ,we may miss a small imperfection.

DATES:My partners and I have decades of knowledge and experience in vintage items. For unmarked items the dates are estimated and materials are judged to the best of our abilities. Please judge for yourself.
