Looking for a unique kippah? Tired of using clips to keep the kippah in place? Having trouble getting your child to wear one? Need an awesome gift?

I was attending a synagogue Family Education event for 2nd graders. I noticed that a woman at my table had four sons, wearing kippot that were clearly handmade. I commented on the uniqueness of each kippah that each of her sons was wearing. She said she loved that they were unique, but that the fabric used was too juvenile. The fabrics were clearly great choices for perhaps a new baby's nursery, but not exactly something that a young boy would pick out. There was my challenge. Simple, right? Figure out how to create a pattern, construct a kippah, find fun 'big boy' themed fabrics, and start sewing! That's exactly what I did. My best selling kippot almost always start out as customer requests. I make and sell kippot to boys of all ages! I only ever list an item once it is complete and ready to ship, so that the customer does not have to wait long to have their order in hand. Thank you for your interest in my and my story!

I'm a wife, mom, and crafter - you know the type! I was inspired to make ritual Jewish head coverings, commonly called a kippah or yarmulke after seeing that young boys did not generally like wearing them, and they often easily fell off one's head!
