Maybe Sparrow Photography and Design originated in 2011, when owner Ashley Davis rekindled her love affair with her camera. She loves making pretty things to share with others, especially her whimsical, vintage style photography and her custom design.

    I took my first photography class at boarding school at age 16, using my father's old Minolta X-700 and the darkroom as a chance to learn as much as possible. Times have changed and now I shoot digitally, but that Minolta is what shaped my future.

Welcome to my shop! I hope you enjoy my photos, I've certainly enjoyed taking them. My photography generally consists of nature shots and whimsical items I find at carnivals, while on adventures, or in my great home state of Texas. I have a special passion for hot air balloons and anything vintage style. Please let me know if you have any questions or special requests and I will do my best to accomodate you.

Returns and exchanges
Please see the above explained in the shipping policy. If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive at all for some reason, then you will need to file a claim with your local postal office. Once the package has left my hands and is in the hands of the postal service, it is no longer in my control as to whether the item becomes damaged or lost. PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS and should your item not get to you, you will be sent the same item again OR get a store credit for the same amount to choose something else that you'd like sent in it's place.

ALL refunds/exchanges will be handled on a case by case basis and shop owner retains the right to refuse any refund/exchange.
Payment
I accept Paypal and direct checkout (all major credit cards accepted on Etsy), please send payment within 48 hours so I can ship your item in a timely manner. If you need to cancel your order within this time, please send me a message as soon as possible.
Shipping
I normally ship within 2-3 business days unless otherwise noted. Items are shipped USPS, with the exception of large print items. For items 16x20 or larger in size, I do provide free tracking and insurance on photographs. If you'd like your item insured and it is a smaller size than 16x20, please contact me for more information and pricing.

Please Note: If you are overseas, please allow up to 2-4 weeks for your items to arrive. Customs may hold your package for an undetermined amount of time and this is not in my control once it is out of the United States. You are responsible for any customs fees that your country may impose on your package once it has arrived to you. I will not pay for any customs fees, so please make a note of this before hand and be aware of what you might have to pay to get your package from customs.

FOR OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS ONLY: If your package does not show up after one month or longer AND we have been in contact, you may possibly receive a refund. Please see my refund policy below. Overseas customers are in charge of all customs and taxes once the package has left the United States. Please be aware of this and what your country's customs policies are, as I am not responsible for any refunds after the package has left the U.S. Please contact me with any questions about this BEFORE ordering your item so there are no complications!

I am very willing to work to accommodate any special requests you may have, so please convo me if you have something you'd like but you don't see on my page. I take photographs to make other people happy!
