Hi I’m Sarah-Jane May and I’m the designer behind May’s Monsters!

I’ve been creating art my whole life and decided to pursue my passions of art as a career a few years ago. I have a BFA in Sculpture and love learning new things daily from other amazing artists I look up to.

In 2019 I started vending at festivals and selling my art, beginning with floral crowns and stickers of my artwork. Everything was going really well until March of 2020 when everything came to a stop from the pandemic. With all this sudden time on my hands I started really launching myself into working on my skills, building my business, and figuring out who I am as a brand. As a result I’ve started designing more fun products such as stationery, home decor, and the other items in my shop, and focusing on the things that make me happy like pop culture references and slug iconography.
