Additional policies and FAQs
I pride myself on the craftsmanship of every piece that passes through my hands. I cover the workmanship to be free of defects for all pendants, cuffs, and earrings for a period of 1 year. This does not cover chain, leather, or normal/excessive wear and/or misuse damage.
If any problems arise, feel free to let me know. I am also an Etsy customer and appreciate it when i have a good buying experience. I truly want everyone to be happy with their purchase.
JEWELRY CARE
Most jewelry sold has an applied patina therefore great care should be taken when cleaning. Use a small, soft, bristle brush and gently brush any dirt or weathering away. Apply Johnston's Paste wax, Renaissance wax, or equivalent and work into corners with a soft brush. Buff with a clean cloth.
I do offer cleaning for $15-$25(purchaser responsible for shipping).
BRACER CUFF CARE
While extremely durable, the leather bracer cuffs should still be treated with care.
Like a Brooks saddle on a bicycle, there is a break in period (around a few months) for leather cuffs to conform around the wrist. Using leather conditioner can help speed up the break in process. I recommend wearing the cuff a few hours every other day for a few weeks to allow the leather to form without being to abrasive on the wrist. Small discoloration on the skin can occur during the break in period from the leather dye but is harmless and non toxic.
The darked metal portion of the cuff has a protective coating but can wear off over time. I do offer resurface treatment for $25 which includes re-blackening, light scuff repair, and recoating (purchaser is responsible for return shipping).
Avoid prolonged exposure to wetness/sweat, chemicals,UV and solvents. Take off during showers/swimming.
Bracer cuffs are made of leather and therefore have natural variations in the grain and surface. Normal wear and patina can occur. Only use appropriate leather cleaner and conditioner.
Custom sizing is available for $15(purchaser is responsible for return shipping). If you want a good fit, I recommend taking a measurement around the wrist bone with a fabric tape and include it in the sellers note. I will do my best to make sure that the leather strap is cut to match.
