Hello Everyone,
Welcome to McKee Farms Goats Milk Essentials. My twins and I (Amy) started making goat milk soap as a fun hobby and to help fight eczema and other skin issues. And to also find fun ways to use up all of our excess goats milk from our Amazing dairy goats. I also wanted everything to be as natural as possible.
In our crazy lives between school, sports, and farm life it's nice to have some things be simple and pure. And with a new baby in the mix that's even more important now.
After a long discussion we decided to venture into trying several products, with success in our home and want to bring them to you now.
Our goats are treated like family and are loved dearly. 3 of 5 kids show for our county 4H program. With 1 taking the Reserve Grand Junior Dairy Doe title in 2018. They work extremely hard with their goats in preparation for fair and in the off season as well. Our girls follow us around our property like puppies (and act like them too sometimes 😃).
We raise several breed of goats. We have Alpine, Nubian, and Nupine which are all dairy goats. We also have Boer goats thrown in the mix.
All of our soap products are hot process. This means extra steps for us but a faster product to you with each order being custom made. Our liquid soap comes directly from our solid bars so there's no hidden ingredients.
We make lotion bars instead of regular lotion because you can't use fresh goat milk in lotion without using the preservatives that prevent bacteria and we don't want those in our lotion. Plus, you don't have to worry about pumping out too much lotion!
Our deodorant can be made without baking soda for those with issues using it.
