We do our woodworking as a full time hobby as we still have a regular full time job. We work in unfinished eastern white pine. We have found over the years that one can never get the color or stain "just right" so we leave it to the customer to do their own finishing. Many of our items can be used as is, without staining or painting- but that is up to you !

Payment
Payment can be in any form that is easiest for you. Checks or money orders can be sent by mail. You can use PayPal, or use your credit card through ETSY. We can chat by email and decide what works the best.
Shipping
Shipping is a major challenge for us due to the continuing changes in cost for UPS and the postal service. We like using USPS Mail. We do not try to make anything on the shipping, so we usually package up the item and get a cost from the shipper and then charge you the actual shipping cost, plus $1.00 for a handling charge.
All the items that you see listed are regular stock items that we have in the shop, so we can normally ship within a couple of days of your order.
However, most of our items are relatively heavy for their size, due the materials used. So again, understand that the shipping cost is NOT usually included in the base price of the item, and we will bill for the ship[ping cost after your piece has been sent to you.
We will not put insurance on the item unless you request it and are willing to pay the added cost.
Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to be 100 per cent happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, you are free to send it back to us.
We would like you to notify us as such within three days of receipt of the item
We would expect you to pay the cost of shipping it back to us, and upon our recipt of the item we will then reimburse you for the original cost of the item less the original shipping cost.
We are confident that we package out items securely and once we turn the box over to UPS of USPS you must make any claim for damage through the shipper.
Additional policies and FAQs
All of our wood working items are totally handmade from natural #2 eastern white pine. Although we are very consistent, no two items will be exactly the same. The grain and ocurrence of knots in the wood will vary from piece to piece. We seal and sand all nail and screw holes, and then do a complete sanding of the finished piece. You may find that a little additional light sanding may be required before you finish or paint your piece. We also recommned that you lightly wash your piece with water and a lint free paper or cloth towel.
If you ever have any question, please contact us.
We feel that we have priced our items fairly and would rather not do any wholesale of items for straight resale- however, we are always happy to listen to any proposals from other crafters who might want to use our items in pursuit of their own skills- painting, cloth etc Please email and we can talk about quantities and so forth.
